Nice.

It's interesting to see that the Caddy is adopting some of the aero solutions for the rear wing that LMP cars employ.

I do wonder who on earth they are trying to market to with this car though. Every Caddy I've ever seen was being driven in the slow lane by some retiree.

When Top Gear posted that today I had to dig up the reason why swan mounts for wings are becoming so common. The result in aero is surpsrising to say the least.

Also: I'd like this car, the street variant, and the old CTS-V race car and its street variant.

I can guess a little website called Mulsanne's Corner revealed the reason?:)

Who do you think? The younger generation & the mid life crisis folks. There's a reason Cadillac has stuck to designing its cars with a protractor & it's been doing a good job the past couple years.

The current CTS platform has done wonders for turning the company's image around.

Just for the record, the other day I passed a brand new Caddy being driven by a guy who I swear was older than the company itself.

Anyway, I get what they're trying to do, and putting this car in GT5 would help (see how I kept it GT5 related).

Are you talking about the car in general or this version? The car in general was to appeal to the younger market, the car shown above is obviously a racing machine for racing drivers.

Seriously?!.... The Lexus IS-F Concept looks a lot more beautiful than that box with a cheap looking spoiler. even the standard sporty CTS-V would be more appropriate to be added on GT5.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder i guess.

Considering GT5 already has a Caddy license, that should not be difficult.

That car looks really cool!

Agreed. Sweet looking Caddy. There is a Caddy Concept that debuted in GT4 so I wouldn't count it out. It would have to be a premium for sure.

So what does the IS-F have to directly compete against?

More variety is good, it would be like having the 908 and no other LMP's and the 458 and no other supercars.

Cadillac has also been racing in various series in the last 5 year, though. The newer rear-drive CTS cars are much more performance-oriented than the front-drive Northstar V8 complexicars the CTS replaced.

A V8 that was also front wheel drive.

What were they thinking?

are you serious? That 2 door coupe is so awkward looking and that wing is absolutely gigantic. I'll take a cts-v sedan over that monstrosity any day of the week.

It's ugly as sin imo. Front end is nice and aggressive, but past the front side mirrors.... Barf!

This!

Well.. I see it as they are Both similar cars, they chose the IS-F / Concept instead of the CTS-V.

I think i just proven my point. :)

Link?

Yeah I'd rate that as one of the ugliest sports cars I've ever seen. On a positive note though, it'd be easy to model in GT5 seeing as it's all angles and flat surfaces. Personally, i'd rather see the new Aston Martin One-77 in there instead.

We already have several threads discussing which cars we'd like to see added to the game. Please move the discussion over there.
