Just tuned my SWIFT, dam that cars a nightmare :lol: but i think i've got a good tune for it. fastest lap was a 2.05.098, which makes a huge difference from my original 2.09.8xx!

Thats a quick time boyce! just had a little change on my car and only got the time down to 1.09.490. might need a quick change of car...
 
Wow you guys have run laps already , well at least i have something to compare to now , gonna get a few practice runs in before tonight .

I love how the league is growing , its getting better and better

Just took a drive in the swift , what a horrible car , i love the ff platform but this car will not turn coming out of that 2nd hairpin , i guess i have to fool with the suspension

299 hp in my swift is everyone about the same ? and dont forget its sports soft for the swift race , i almost forgot

need a quick change, the panda don't seem to be doing well....
 
I couldn't possibly say haha..

Although my lap time was with no adjustments at all to transmission, suspension etc so should be able to do quicker. Suppose that doesn't help you though! :lol:

EDIT: just done a 1.05.607 in the new car, i think i've responded well kingy ;)

EDIT 2: did a 1.13.413 at TTGT

looks like its gonna be real close tonight , I'm 1 second behind you trebor in the swift and i cant seem to find that extra second

haven't done much to the S2000, the car seems good already, might quickly change it before the race though
 
You guys seem to have been putting in the hours this week, good to see.. I've only done a couple of laps on each track to ensure the transmission is right and I have to say your times sound good, looks like I've gotta fight for a win tonight boys, looking forward to being challenged :)

Did a few more than just a couple of laps on TGTT, I just couldn't decide on a car as I was limited on choice and they all seemed naff, I've re-bought a new car to use so fingers crossed it works out. Will be interesting if someone makes a mistake and falls behind, watch out at the crossover!! :D
 
Has anyone managed to get gold on the TGTT seasonal event, I had a go the other night and could only manage a 1:18.5, its a really tough challenge I'd say almost as hard as getting gold at Suzuka in the X2010!!

What seasonal event is that? I've won gold in the Kubelwagen at Top Gear in Advanced special event.

I did it (with a DS3 :lol:)
I got a 1.17.5xx i think, its easy when you get the hang of it. I can easily do it in 1 lap now :)

Its the mercedes-benz seasonal (when david coulthard did a lap in the real SLS)
 
Well that is very impressive doing it with a DS3 Trebor, did you do the X2010 with the DS3 too, I thought that was impossible from what I'd read here on GTP!! I might have to watch one of the top ten replays to get some tips for this seasonal, I can't let one by without getting gold ;)

Would be much easier if they didn't force TCS on me :( I bet DC did it with the TCS off!!

That was quick Kingy, usually a day or two before we get the results posted, guess you couldn't wait to show my poor performance ;)

I must apologise again for screwing up this week, I hope I didn't cause an issue with anyone at the start of race 3, I was on the phone and didn't mean to enter the race at all, tried to get off the track asap... :guilty:

It was a nice change to start at the front on the last race and the Esprit was so quick down the straights, lap 2 my phone rang again and I tried to continue and drive one handed, but I ended up getting 2 penalties in a row and thought I better get off the track before I cause a pileup :lol:

Anyway the racing was really good this week, much more competitive and I really enjoyed it (despite having to drive FF's), roll on next week...

Pretty sure on race 4 i came second, i'll double check the replay at some point and let you know. Had loads of fun in the races by the way.
 
I think you were 3rd boyce, but it was very close.

I can't belive how close i was to winning the first 2 races (and surprised my prius didn't get bashed off the road :lol:), the 2nd race i was knocked from the back from skengdigi on the last lap on the 2nd hairpin,which gave him the lead and the race :ouch:

The 3rd race i loved it, that S2000 just stuck on the road and i think i only made 1 mistake on the last corner. The TGTT was also a good race, but was expecting a battle with soopa, in till he got the phone call.

Overall i thought i was really strong in all of the races, I just lost out on the first 2.

And do you have all the Bday tickets kingy?
 
Got bad news I'm afraid (well you may not think so), my team messed up the system updates they were doing last night, which is why they kept ringing me, so now we have to do it all over again same time next week :(

I'm gonna have to be more involved since they obviously can't be trusted to get it done without me, so looks like I'm not gonna get to defend my title this season as dropping another 4 races will be too many without points to compete, just when this league was getting better too :ouch:

Sorry I have to drop out Kingy, looks like you've got a descent number of racers now though, good luck with the rest of the season everyone 👍

Thats a shame Soopa :( Would starting at say 10pm help at all?
 
Thanks for the offer Kingy, I have to be more involved with the entire end to end process, unfortunately that also means starting earlier...

One good thing to come out of it is that it will keep the mrs off my back, as she's been moaning I spend too much time on GT5, at least this way I can keep the videos going on the MRC and getting some practise in for those races. Battlefield 3 also comes out next month so I'll need time for that too :)

not good at all soopa, but i suppose you've got to do these things. I was looking forward to catching you in the championship (like your doing in MRC to me :lol:)
