I definitely agree the more we have the better, don't get me wrong I like winning, but I'd rather be involved in a hard fought battle any day.

Grand Valley is good, sorry but I think Tsukuba sucks, the track is way too short, there's only like 6 corners per lap, makes it very repetitive and dull. I guess we should all get our favourite at least once a season though ;)
 
Firstly, I have just watched the replay of Suzuka. And yes Soopa really did crash into a wall at 200mph! Good to watch..

But regarding the incident between Trebor and Soopa, it appears Trebor comes out of the corner and does not have complete control of the car and slides into Soopa. I certainly don't feel there was anything intentional there and from past experience of Trebor he is a very clean driver. Trebor does then wait for a good amount of time for Soopa before I overtake him and go on to claim a sensational win.

I forgot to save a replay of Monza but the brakes on Soopa's F40 were pretty bad. I was worried I was going to smash into him whenever I was behind so tried to brake to the side of him when close. I remember contact at chicane 2 but thought I had just got the position at the time. Maybe was a bit of a tough move. Soopa did smash me 1st lap though!

Skengd, I will look at the possibility of races at Tsukuba and Grand Valley Speedway next week. Will sort out the races tomorrow.

I do find it quite difficult choosing the tracks each week as with 4 races a week, it is hard not to be using a few tracks fairly often. Hoping PD release some more tracks in the future..

I can't remember much of the incident, but i never want to hit any driver when racing, even if they taken me out before. so sorry soopa, these things just happen sometimes.
and NO i DIDN'T use a power limiter on my ferrari, if you don't belive me i can say what upgrades i used to get it to 631bhp.
I thought the furai was a race car, yes a concept, but kingy used a concept race car (that polyphony made). The furai is mazda's concept for a race car that they intend to race at le mans sometime. Just cause it has no fancy vinyl's, it still makes it a race car, shouldn't it? (look at the R8 LMS for example, no vinyl's but still race car):indiff: :(

Well I know we've had close racing before and its always been clean, so I assume it wasn't deliberate, it just seemed like you were trying to overtake me up the inside on the exit, which is a bit strange considering the nice long straight which follows, so I'll assume as kingy did you lost control and me losing 2 places was just unfortunate. I saw on the replay you had stopped like you were gonna let me go back ahead, but then I guess I was taking too long to get back on the track again and so you decided to continue anyway, I couldn't continue the race after that so parked up (well crashed) so everyone would still get decent CR/XP for the race ;)

I did say I could be wrong about the Ferrari, I've never spent that long trying different combinations of parts to get close to the limit on hp races, just find something that's close and maybe try different turbos, this league is just a bit of fun for me and getting to use different cars each week, all I do is choose a car and set the transmissions max speed to match the track and thats all the time I put in. (I'm rubbish at tuning anyway!)

I don't really define a race car by whether it has vinyls or not, though most do, the fact was the furai is just a concept and most in the game have unrealistic performance. That car is well known for outperforming in its class. The reason I was being picky about it is that I turned up to a rally event once in the Suzuki Escudo and was told I couldn't use it as it wasn't a rally car!?! I then had to find another car on the spot and run something completely unprepared. Ever since then I have taken the specs to the letter as I expected to be forced to do the same as I was in the rally event if I turned up in something which wasn't right. I guess I need to lighten up and not take the specs layed out so literally :dopey:

Anyway I accept your apology for the incident and hopefully we can get back to some more fun racing next week 👍
 
The rally event should have had a PP or BHP restriction. That was my fault for that one.

I also had the Suzuki but it was so much quicker than the other rally cars that it would not have been a competitive race at all.

I believe you still won the race anyway but even though it is technically a rally car, I feel in that instance it was right to not let that car race..


I do try and keep this league fairly relaxed but in future I will look out for cars selected more to ensure they are all within the restrictions. With this in mind, if you have doubts about your car then send me message before the race or have a backup car prepared which you are certain is acceptable.

on page one it says danger hasnt won a race but he has won 1 , fuji if i remember correctly.

No, any upgrades, any tyres, so tune it up as much as you like ;)

I will probably go with the premium one regardless of performance, just so I can make it look nice with wheels and aero parts :)

I like the idea of a random track for the S2000's, no one will know what to change transmission for etc. :lol:

And yep, it will be a random track! You will only have a limited time to make any adjustments as this race like the others will have an automatic race start time. Mwahahahaha :crazy:

I barely have anything british thats as low powered as that, certainly all premiums fully tuned are above 500PP, you are aware british manufacturers mainly make high performance cars kingy? Or is that the challenge ;)

Anyway let me know if you found a race/rally cause if so its probably one of the few cars I'm missing and can add it to my list of ones to obtain :)

creating a random track online has been there for a while, under the track selection there should be options to change sceanery, sections and complexity (i think). i've only used it a few times online.

and i'm also looking forward to these british cars, i've just gone for a car im conftable with and driven a lot. its not a rally/race car though.
 
yeh i have no clue what car to use for the first race since its limited to 98 bhp , i have to win that race since its my track . the suzuki swift race im undecided if i should use a wing or not , i probably will go with a wing but lower the downforce , i can see soopa drafting me and taking the win from me on the last lap (like in tokyo)

im trying to get 2 wins this week and hopefully soopa wont win a race and this will help me draw closer to 1st place , it would be wonderful if i won all 4 races then we would be tied at 5 race wins .

this guy is too much like vettel at the moment , shrug

Ahhh Tokyo, what a race that was, I'd have been very annoyed not to win that tho after a stupid mistake cost me a healthy lead, was the best comeback ever! ;)

The 98bhp car I wanted I've already tuned and its above the limit, even with everything taken off, so unless I find one in the UCD/OCD I'm stuck with something nowhere near as good :(

I don't like the Swift, but then you all know how I feel about FF cars :yuck:

I'm concentrating on GT500 again this week, since I'm not very pactised with Fuji and need to beat Trebor, so with the FF's in two races and you being so quick around Tsukuba there's a good chance you'll finish ahead of me 👍

With the random track at Eifel, it is down the bottom of the tracks under Nurburgring. Never tried it before but hopefully it will turn out alright.

Yeah I was just intrigued by the race/rally allowed but I couldn't find one and thought it might be a car I was missing from the collection ;)
Problem for me is I have every premium car but they're all fully tuned and I don't have time to go through them changing parts or buy new cars, even a lot of the standard cars I've tuned up already, not too much of a problem as it will be more of a challenge if I'm not close to the limit :)

I don't think I've turned up any week and not won at least one race, but there's always a first time for everything, especially as you've made this week very challenging for me ;)

Yes, I think you are right about no race cars under 470. Although there may be one or 2 which can be race modified.

I don't have anything in the rules about ballast so that can also be used to bring down PP if need be.
 
I think i've got strong cars for the first and last race, these things really move considering the lack of bhp on both (especially the 98hp (well 96hp for me)), going to practice with the other 2 cars now to see what I can do with them. (i made the mistake of not properly tuning a few cars last week, which made me lose :lol:)

I wonder if I can catch soopa in the championship race :sly::lol::drool:
...ok maybe 2nd place, for this season... :lol:
 
What lap times are you doing at Tsubuka? I might add a lap or 2 to the race.

I am hoping for a turnout of 7 people tomorrow night which would be pretty good. Will make it very difficult to catch Soopa though..
