I don't see an issue with having an automatic start cycle, I don't usually get much time for race prep, but I at least get to choose my car and do a quick couple of laps and transmission tweaks before race day.

I think the races you come up with are always really good, I've used so many cars I probably never would have and found some good ones too (no not the prius :yuck:), keep up the good work mate and I'll try and pitch in a few ideas too :)

I think we will have a set number of minutes to race start after we have discussed the previous race and I have changed track, regulations etc. Will be more organised that way..

Thanks mate but to be honest I am just carrying on the same style to what Wolsta started so he deserves praise for the different type of races. Can't see another series which is like this so glad the style goes down well. 👍
 
Yes I agree the races that you have come up with have been excellent !!

Need to do some practicing before races though to try and take the fight to soopa .

A 8 minute autostart would be great , gives enought time to do what we need.

I told one of my friends about it as well , lives in the uk i hope he joins us next week.

Welcome trebor555 your assistance will be appreciated , i dont want it to sound like we are all out for soopa , i do give him some excellent competition at times but he seems to always get the upperhand , he always has the better car (thats my excuse lol)

Looking forward to hearing the new races for next week.

Skengd, would be good if he came along. Would have at least 6 then which should make it even more competitive.

Will sort the races out some stage tomorrow. Watching the England game later and then got Soopa's race league after that.

By the way, does everyone here have a Ferrari F1 car? Maybe not for this week but thought in the future we could have a Ferrari F1 race...
 
I have a mate that is considering joing us too, he is very keen - Just got to get it past his wife !! :ouch:

I dont have a f1 car, never pursued them as yet, I am sure I could borrow one from one you kind fellows :sly:

Good luck with Soopa's league tonight, I have been working as his pit crew, so you should all stand more of chance if he uses my settings ! 💡

I have just entered my 13th hour at work, then got a 2 hour journey home, pass the pro plus, red bull and vodka !!

I can send you a level 24 ticket DM and hopefully you will get a Ferrari from that.

Soopa's league is a tough standard. I usually finish towards the back but have been improving my lines because of it. Enjoy it though and Soopa does a great job running it with the replays etc. Trebor and co are tough to keep up with but my aim is have a top 5 finish by the end of the season. Top 5 - sad isn't it!!!?? :lol:

I've got both F1's, I don't think you can enter a borrowed car in an online race DM, Kingy's ticket should get you one ;)

tbh I think I've got every car in the game now, can't be 100% sure without going through them all, I never see anything I don't already have in the UCD or OCD...

I would like a brand new Mclaren F1 GTR with 0 miles though, so a level 23 will do nicely thanks :)
 
Just to confirm, any upgrades means we can tune the car to the max, inless it has to be in a certain bhp/pp limit?

Yeah pretty much.

I probably don't need to include it in the description for each race as it's always there but yeah just allowing any tuning parts to be used as long as it's within the restrictons.

took a huge gamble with the choice of car for the last race, hope it pays off :nervous:
 
I'm intrigued with your gamble, will be interesting to see what everyone will be running for the last 2 races, though I only have one Ferrari within the limit!! I'm sure others could be tuned within the limit but mine are all maxed and I can't be bothered to buy new ones to try :)
 
I was going to use the 330 P4 for the ferrari race, but i missed the 1000kg minimum limit :lol:
 
Yeah I've got the 330 too but thought it would be more competitive having all the road cars..

Will try and open the lobby before 11 tonight so we can get under way closer to 11 than usual..
 
I'll try to be there on time, my Mrs watches something on telly which finishes at about 10:55!
 
What PP have you all got for the last race?

Mine is only at 678 but think I will go with it. I have an alternative bang on 690 which is quicker but I find harder to control in the corners.

The night started off really well, I set the fastest lap on race 1 & 2, although that was probably a mistake race 1 as it meant I started from the back (forgot we weren't qualifying anymore). I quickly made it to the front, but it was difficult to shake Trebor off my slipstream, he eventually got by me through Kesselchen. I knew I could keep up with him and it was just a matter of timing my next pass, which was done to perfection just before Antoniusbuche, very satisfying win on my favourite track :)

Can't say I'm too happy about being taken out in the last race though, I was so mad I had to go smash my car into a wall at 200mph :banghead: Trebor wasn't even driving a real car, let alone a race car, I was so busy trying to find out which of my McLaren's I'd tuned I didn't notice until I saw it on the track!! Was your gamble on whether or not you'd be disqualified Trebor? :sly: Could be wrong but I suspect the power limiter was used on the Ferrari too!?!

Don't mean to bash the new guy but we should all play by the rules ;)

I had no speed in 4th, 5th and 6th gear, in the first and third race. I must try harder to get my gears correct and stop driving like my gran 💡

Never one to rock the boat but I have to support Soopa regarding the use of car in the final race, race car only is just that race car only :grumpy:, I had a limited choice for this race as I am yet to own more than 300 cars - the corvette is a tyre stripping, flame spitting beast, but quite fun to drive ! :dunce:

Well done to Soopa for the win and congrats to all for some more fair close racing :sly:

Online handling is different, don't ask me why, I always set my cars up in my own lounge ;)

Thanks mate, looks like having Trebor in the mix is gonna make it a bit more difficult for you guys to catch my points lead now, poaching drivers from MRC probably wasn't the best move... :sly:

Forgot I should apologise for my brakes on the F40, they were set too low and were pretty much non-existant first couple of laps, I turned them up during the race but my braking distance still appeared to be twice that of anyone else's and when in slipstream it was almost impossible to make the thing stop!! :guilty: I ended up taking me and Kingy off track, although he did get me back by slamming me into the wall at chicane 2, which was fair enough ;)
 
Didnt have a good night will have to dig deep to have a good round 3 and see if i can draw closer to the lead . The more people who join does make it harder and possibly makes it better , the more the merrier .

Cant wait for the next set of races , hope they are in lower pp classes , once it gets over 550 i lose my edge . I do a lot better with slower cars.

Hope Boyce can give some good competition and eventually Wolsta will return , things are looking positive.

A Grand Valley Speedway race would be nice :) or how about my fave track Tsukuba
