Drift around test track and in the turn, hold on the drift the whole turn...

Is this possible?
If so, how do you do it?

lol. Not something i do on a regular basis but i have done it. Yes hybrid. Akina_86 claims to be able to do it without a hybrid though.

Edit: I´m not sure i can say that you are a great drifter for doing that with a hybrid.

I can burn out through the whole corner in the Escudo, does that count? :D

Anyway, doing this corner wouldn't prove you are a great drifter, it would prove your car is tuned for large corners.

i agree with pergatory because its skill to make a bunch of turns in style, speed, and control in order to be a great drifter

i agree with perg too being able to link corners is alot better then drifting huge long corners but being able to do both in one run takes skill

if u able to hold a drift for a long time on the test course then u should be able to drift a AWD nice ^_^

hey guys actually you can drift it without hybrib. its actually pretty dam easy. I went over to akina_86's house and all he did was get his integra and just did an FF drift the whole way. The way i saw him do it was he went his full speed then right before the entry of the first turn he initiated a drift. So then after like 1/4 of the turn he started using the wall to drift it. It was actually pretty cool but not that cool. If you dont beleive that it isnt a hybrid well then screw you it is wat i saw and wat i kno im just trying to prove a point. =P

Darken_Drifter you idiot. you werent supose to tell them cause they all already hate FF driftin enough. there are many factors they do not understand. oh well i guess its been said. but my way of driftin the test course is, YES with an FF car. that is my way. at time i can do it without nidging the wall. ill have video for you if you like but i gotta ask Night_Drifter if hell help put it on the internet. no hybrid either.

FF maybe slow at drifting but it is still faster than a SIM drift and i can adjust the angles to paralell or speed angles. dont dought FF cars, they are great cars too. i chirish all drive train. im not a hater.

:banghead:
I guess people will never understand that FF's can't drift. It doesn't matter how sideways you get or how fast you are going, you aren't drifting. Sorry.

I'm personally impressed by the fast-angle. Making the perfect angle for the drift before the entrance and as fast as possible.

here is the Drifinition you need to look up.
Definition:

Drift- a car going slide ways through the corner, and sliding all the way through, not just the entry.

Stupid- pergatory:lol:

Idiot- battle stage or pergatory

get it through your thick head:banghead:

for all you beginners i dont know who you think you are coming in here thinkin you know everything but you dont. if you think you do than prove it with a video otherwise shut the **** UP!

Where did you get that definition? Show us your source that says that wording. Until then, don't tell us to look up the definition. Drifting is a slide controlled by balance of weight transfer. FF "drifting" is an entirely different concept involving forcing the rear tires to lose traction with the e-brake or brakes, and then simply pulling the car through the corner with the front wheels while you slide. It has nothing to do with balance.

What a colorful response. You've shown who the real idiot is here by yourself, so I'll leave it at that.

well F#$@# u too

Can FF's drift? Yes, but it's so utterly pathetic it's not really good enough to be held in the same regard as rear drive and all-wheel drive vehicles. Pulling the e-brake is nothing special. Is it ok to use it from time to time? Sure, but that depends on how, where, and when it's applied, which shouldn't be often at all.

Front drive vehicles are at the bottom of the food chain when it comes to drifting.

FR and AWD are up here...

And FF is way the **** down here. They just can't compete, PERIOD. Now please just sit down and be quiet because you won't win here.

that was offsensive. You can drift FF without ebrake. But people that use power over and power to maintain their drift with FR can't possibly understand it.

Exactly. Drifting is:

Controling a car past the limit of adhesion, using weight transfer, countersteer, braking, and throttle control. If your rear wheels aren't powered, than it is not drifting......period. ;)
