Tough choice between Grand Valley and TGTT.

I voted Grand Valley since its kind of the definitive Gran Turismo track and I think it should have all the features for that reason. TGTT would be nice to have rain as an option since many times the track is wet on the show.

yea i was thinking TGTT but ... theres not much scenery
Just imaging coming out the tunnel on Monaco or Cote d azur and seeing the lights from the buildings ahead
or the moon reflection in the water
that track would be so good at night

as for grandvalley that would be nice too but I would pick any city track over original tracks

yes all tracks would be nice but whats the fun in that :dopey:

Sebring ..... wait sorry that track is not in gt5

well then i'll say Grand Valley Speedway -_-

Had to go with Monaco, or as the game calls it "Cotex Diaper".

Seriously, why couldn't they just call it "Monaco", or even "Monte Carlo"? I know "Côte d’Azur" translates "Azure Coast" and is the name for the area that includes Monaco, but why slap that more generic name on there when it's known by a far more common name? It would be like calling Daytona "Florida" or "Southeast US", Indianapolis "Indiana" or "Midwest US", or Laguna Seca "California" or "West Coast US".

nice i voted cote d azur
that would look so nice at night

DP needs to fix headlights first. The first third of the track that winds up and then down a hill would suck with DP's headlights that don't shine up or down hills.

uhhh nurburgring?
I don't see circuit de la sarthe on there either..

SSR5 is night only now, yes?
I thought setting it similar to to the F1 race in Abu Dhabi, where we set off just before sunset and finish at night would be pretty cool

edit: thanks ^^

yea lets add dynamic time and weather to track with dynamic time and weather 💡 lol

Grand Valley already has plenty of (unused) floodlights and in general it looks like it would have been the most obvious track for time and weather changes. However I'd really want to see a night and weather version of Tokyo R246.

Suzuka. Great fun in the wet :D

Trial Mountain, for sure my most favourite track through the Gran Turismo Series.

Laguna Seca

It deserves it since it was the first real world circuit in the GT series and the 24 hour cycle could make the surrounding hills look pretty good.

Personally I think that it's tracks that would make sense racing on during the night or that in real life have night races that should have full night/day cycles. This includes for example all city tracks. I don't think this should be based on merits such as having been featured the earliest in the GT series or something like that.

Trial Mountain for example doesn't seem to feature floodlights or any other facility for night racing (however, if a longer, completely new point-to-point touge-like appeared, that would actually make sense, in a way).

Laguna Seca if I recall correctly features 24h endurances in real life from time to time. So it should have priority regarding implementing this aspect in GT5.

I agree that 24 hour cycles should only be included where it makes sense for the location. However, as you said Laguna Seca does have night racing in real life so I think it should be treated with this before any other relevant track such as Daytona. Simply because it was in the series since GT3 and it's not an obvious choice like Nürburgring and Le Mans.

Nurburgring GP/F

Why is not on the list?
