I didnt know where to put this but anyways...

A friend of mine and I started talking about this randomly. I would want High Speed Ring or Trial Mountain.

:)

Interesting question, often thought about this one myself.

Personally I would build Grand Valley Speedway, epic, fast, technical, scenic, everything I want in a race circuit.

And yes it would be the slightly reqorked GT4 version:p

Apricot Hill for sure, it's probably my favourite track from the game and I just love the hairpin turn.

Mine would be the El Capitain race track. I love the elevation changes in the track and can really push car almost any car to it limits and not go off track. It also feels flowing and not stop and go like some other tracks particulary the street circuits.
Also the scenery is beautiful.

Grand Valley full...with lake and faked macro tree.

Clubman Stage Route 5 or Trial Mountain though if I had the money to afford a track, I wouldn't mind spending it on a dream car or a track car and race on someone else's track.

I do have enough money to make a track. Seattle Curcuit, to be presice. :sly:
but really, I'd probably make Trial mountain.

It would be a tough choice between Trial Mountain and El Capitan. El Capitan would probably win due to the scenery and not being so dark.

I am surprised that no one picked Deep Forest yet.

That's the one I'd choose. I love driving and drifting on it. It's just got a nice flow to it with all the elevation changes right at the begining. And the double left hander is fun, so is the very last corner. Brake super late and let it slide on through. Uber fun.

I'm conflicted between Midway and Seattle Circuit. I loved them both since GT2. If I had to choose just one, I would probably go with Midway.

I always loved the actual track of Apricot Hill so much. Both directions it was just so much fun. I think if I actually had my own track I'd go for one of the other scenic ones. They did a pretty good job on some of them of making a great venue, not just great track. Too bad I haven't played any Gran Turismo in almost 2 years.

I'd build Grand Valley Speedway for sure, awesome track. Caining out of the tunnel and onto the bridge in my Ute would be an awesome experience.:)

Red Rock Valley. One of my favorite tracks in any GT game, and it's a shame they killed it after GT2. Still, it'd be one awesomely amazing track if it were real.

Although it's not quite my favourite original GT track (very close, though), I'd have to say Grand Valley. Not only is the track really awesome, but it would be fantastic circuit for the spectators and I'd imagine its facilities would be a lot better than that of my favourite circuits (Trial Mountain and Special Stage Route 5). Seeing a whole field of GT or F1 cars flying out of the tunnel and across the big blue bridge would be an amazing sight.

Gran Turismo 1 spec SSR11, Deep Forest, Grand Valley and Complex String!

Complex String!
Finally, someone else for the C String!

How can you not love that damn track? Trying to get your slalom down in the RUF and then your first time on the full lap going over the rise towards the end, losing grip and sailing off the track only to see FAIL!

Granted, it would be a bit of a pain to race on, but that's not the point of the thread. :p

I was going to vote for that originally, but I know in the real world El Capitan would be more fun. The Complex String would be challenging, but probably enough so to become frustrating.

Complex string is ownage.

But I also like GT4's Grand Valley East. And I never liked Trial Mountain or Deep forest. I just don't think either of them have a very good flow to the turns. Even the Nurburgring flows better than they do, and that's the ultimate anti-manicured racetrack.

EDIT: As for C String, well, it might not flow at all, but it's so damn difficult. It was nearly impossible for me to replicate the same lap twice. I loved it. I worked so hard and learned the thing one corner at a time, and eventually I got pretty good, doing multiple hard laps without and off-track excursions.

Special stage route 11 from GT1, loved the chicane under the bridge!

But grand valley is a special track, its the most real track, in my opinion!

Chalk another one up for Deep Forest. The mini-Nurburgring is just so fun.

And I still have to get around to walking/driving the Seattle circuit sometime.

I don't see any love for the Autumn Ring :P

Deep Forrest is still my all-time favourite... but if I had to build an original GT circuit, it would likely be Grand Valley Speedway. Any of the versions from GT1,2 or 3. Not GT4:tup:.

As do I. I actually went on a section walking around Seattle, that bit under the viaduct. I thought it looked familiar.
