You next Solid Fro...? :D

I tried the 1.1.1 jailbreak and I wasn't impressed. The only app I want on the Touch is map.app and it still doesn't work correctly with the Touch. I've since upgraded to 1.1.2 and I don't really want to downgrade. The default theme is still hawt.

Start here.

From all the places I read it doesn't void the warranty and even then you can restore the ipod so it's stock again.

I used to use that on my ipod touch lol. I gone back to a menu like CDailey posted but ipod touch doesnt have camera lol or phone for that matter.

Are you guys using that Screenshot program to get these images, and then uploading?

I would personally, rather avoid that program until it's more flexible. The scare I had the other night was enough.

I use Dock program, and then use Cute FTP 8 Pro to get the files off my touch that are created. If you have MobileFinder, it looks like you could browse to the tmp folder and send them via e-mail, but that would require the e-mail client to be setup and working.

Speaking of which, any of you fellows upgraded to 1.1.3? I'm personally waiting until SummerBoard is upgraded and there's more than just a Wiggley feature.

I have not; still rocking 1.1.2. There is no easy or straight forward method to jailbreak 1.1.3 yet, and many of the apps are having support issues on it. There is a SOFT upgrade that emulates the 1.1.3 feature set, but I really don't see the point in it.

I'll probably wait a month after the Dev team working on jailbreak announces they have a stable build. That will likely be in a month itself, so a 2 month period till I will likely go through upgrading to 1.1.3.

I will probably be doing the same. I'm personally wanting to wait til' that SDK deal is out and is cracked.

I haven't gotten an iPhone yet, but I'm wary to try to "hack" the thing to get extra features. I hope it's only a matter of time before they officially allow custom themes.

I don't know, but if they did, I'm sure Apple would figure some way to charge you for them.

Now, I don't know if the iPhone has some sort of restore feature, but on the iTouch, if you don't like it, restoring will get rid of the jailbreak.

The iPhone has a restore feature as well. However, you can truly brick the iPhone due to the sim card and such, but that I think is only an issue using unstable jailbreaks and if you are fiddling with unlocking it from the ATT network.

There are more risks to jailbreaking the iPhone, but a lot of them have been sorted out and Apple has stopped trying to brick them. Unless you have one unlocked from the ATT network... :indiff:

Oh look, I changed the slider for the slide to unlock bit... plus the bar around it...

I'll post up my modified battery as well, at some point.

I just was about to ask how you change the top bar. I'd seen someone who has replaced "iPod" with Ferrari. Just thought that was pretty cool. :P

The iPhone software refers to it as the "Carrier Icon". Some people have been able to find "Carrier Icon" on customize.app, but its not showing up on mine. :indiff:

I did mange to change the wi-fi signal icon so that at 1 bar its red, 2 is yellow, and 3 is green. Adds just a little color to my fairly muted color themes.
