Agreed, i know they are. I personally like the japanese/cantonese dubbed ones. They have the best accuracy and stuff about that show. Hmm... Isn't it illegal to even have fansubs on it over kazaa or whatever

I hate the cantonese dubbed ones.....omse of the vocabulary sounds so.....artificial and lame

example. drift: cantonese "piu yee". OMG. enough said.

Stage 4 will be in the form of multiple acts/episodes..there are about 10 races featured.....mainly featuring the FD3S and the AE86 as they travel around as Ryosuke's racing team, Project D.

I have the races that will be shown listed somewhere in the movie section...I think. lol

Thanks for the update :)
I haven't come across to the comic or anything yet, since i don't have any time... :(
Yeah, i pretty much can guess that would happen, since it's pretty much shown in stage 3. Also because the game XD

what's wrong with that? i love the canto ones.. only coz im chinese and speak canto at home.. i dont like the Japanese ones mainly for the fact of the voices and i dont understand it..

but wif ur e.g. thats the way how cantonese is.. its very colloqiual with a lot of slang.. how would u say drift in another way in canto then? :odd:

lol. yea...or they can say "JEE RIFT"

dont' worry man....I'm chinese and speaking cantonese as well. I just dont' like it...it bugs me. plus for the cantonese dubbing, the voices....they sound so lifeless. I like the original japanese audio cuz I find the voices matches the characters really well. Keisuke's cantonese dubbed voice bugs me the most....

man i love the voices of canto actors.. they're the best.. i reckon they're perfect.. in stage 3 the canto voices got a tad off and a bit weak.. man when Kyoichi says 'sarn low ji wong hay lan evo!' thats the best! LOL

lol. yea, i guess everyone has their own preference...i also find the canto ones to be lacking in bass...=P

but initial d is still good, regardless

genuine copy? I've never bothered to tell the difference between the real and fake.

whatever...as long as it works, then I don't really care..

I got mine from hk too....well, atleast hte ebay guy that sold it to me was located in HK....

SO I C!!!

are u talking about on akina b4 cp2? That is the right hander aka "gutter of death" (its called this coz u can easily miss the gutter if not timed properly)?

Personally with the DC2 i start braking on the first street sign to the left while in 4th gear and start to turn in just before the rummble strips end.. its real hard to visualise without playing coz u have to experiment urself.. ppl have different techniques on taking this bend.. some even use 3rd gear to get their car into the gutter and back to 4th..

just practice, practice practice.. ;)

Wht is Intial D?
is it an anime, that came out as manga first (comic books). It based on a 18 year old (Takumi Fujiwara) that drives a AE86 toyota trueno which is a car that is about 20years old. He has been trained by his father and always sends tofu up the akina mountain to a hotel(s) and has been doing this for past 5 years. Upon coming back on the downhill he has managed to develop a technique to rush home faster to get home ASAP and has learnt a gutter technique that allows him to plonk his wheels in and follow the gutter.. similar to a train on the tracks.

One night he trails an RX7 and the driver underestimates this 86 obviously he sees it as a sht box. The 86 uses the special gutter trick, overtakes the RX7 and then performs an inertia drift right infront of the RX7 driver and goes home into the darkness..

the legend of the 86 is spread everywhere and the story goes on from there.. ;)

no, it's more arcadey like.....kaido battle is way too....sensitive.....I didn't like kaido battle....I hate the spirit meter...

in iniital D, it's more arcadey, and faster action...the PS2 is better than the arcade....it has 5 more courses than what version 2 has....and has more cars...and hte characters TALK to you and stuff unlike hte arcade.....tho the game is slightly harder to play and all....

gutter.....I have managed to use the gutter with every car.....whether i use the gutter at high speeds or not, that is another story....=)

the two gutters I ALWAYS hit when i race (and leads to many of my victories) is the last one in the 5 hairpins, the right turn of death, and the very very last right hand one at the end....

i prefer the gameplay of arcade i spose for the fact its easier and also that the cars have more potential.. in SS its a shame that the cappo really sucks for akina.. ive heard negative opinions about kaido..

Agreed to both things
So anyone know how to use the ae86 to run into the gutter smoothly, i can't cut in on the first turn smoothly... :(
