i just explained b4.. try experimenting at different points.. like at the first street sign.. also if u dont come out of the S bend at least 170 it maybe pointless to gutter the death bend coz ur going too slow..

a good gutter speed would be around 140 or around that.. i cant seem to do it as well as the Arcade..

I do the 5 hairpin gutters at...120~130. LOL. so slow!

with dc2, just before breaking for the right hand turn of death, I'll be arouind 175~180km/h

if with any of my other cars, like evo3, evo4, fd, WRX....I'd probably be hitting 170 or so before breaking....usually coming out of the gutter turn at 130~140 or so

So do you let the car slowly slip into the gutter.. or do you accelerate into it?

for me, I brake a bit, then tuck the cars front in towards the gutter....I make it so i get into the gutter in the last 1/2 of the turn

when i find the approach angle into the gutter to be right, then I'll full throttle into it

just make sure you snap out of the gutter soon after dipping into it....if not, the gutter will swing your car and cause it to grind into the wall/mountain/whatever...very devastating.

the 2 gutters have different effects, the first one b4 cp2 the gutter is supposed to pull u in so that u can clear the corner at a speed thats not possible if taken normally. If u do it at a decent speed say at least 140 then the gutter should pull u in and maybe ull kiss the outside rail if ur line was off.. the last gutter b4 the finish line thats supposed to have a sling shot effect i think.. well u come speed around 174 or more (dc2) catch the gutter, ride for maybe a second and then the gutter spits you out.. i hope that xplains it ..

the last one is indeed slingshot-like...cuts back on your understeer and keeps the speed high. lets you clear that turn at 174 and up.....i think i did it at 178 once..

i hit the gutter trick perfectly with my dc2 and 86.


Dc2 came out of it at 182

and 86 at 185.


but its hard to do

lol. 185? that's awesome. I never come out of the turn before the long stretch fast enough to hit 185.....o_O

but I shall give it a try to give more accurate numbers......those numbers are from guestimates

178 thats fast, even in AS i may just pull 175 if lucky wif the dc2..

182 km/h.. hmmm i dont think dc2 can do it that fast, or i havnt seen it done at that speed.. even the slowest speed for say a cappo on akina in Aracde stage is low 180s..

if im lucky i just reach the blue street sign at around 181 or so..

i know a dude that has done it max 176km/h in arcade stage and he pulls a 2'51 or 2'52 with dc2 on akina dh..

plus also i dont think Extra (world number 1 for akina dh wif most cars) could get near 180 wif dc2 and we're talking about arcade stage, im sure special stage is harder..

if u can gutter the last bend in akina at 180+ wat is ur end time, do u have ur times to prove it?

how can you not know about the gutters?! they make the cool ass sound when u dip into them!

monkey D is basically a GT3 drift clan/team...they take part in drift competitions held here on GTP and whatnot

so, to hit tha gutter, you drop your front right or left tire, n what, it just helps you clear the turn better?
