the rx8 is actually #1 for wet and dry.. but anyways when u have two players with similar skill it really does come down to the car type..
when it comes to a noob and good player it doesnt matter as ive beaten easily ppl with a stock GDB.. thing is a stock GDB can still match a BT car.. really depends on map too as cars are more biased on specific maps..
Whatever happened to Touch on Happogahara with his Civic EK9? He used to drive like a professional in Version 2 and I kept losing, and in Version 3, I beated him by 100+ meters on my first try...

I heard from my friend that Suncoast upgraded to Version 3, but I have no clue is it true or not. If it is, it would be very convenient because it takes less than ten minutes to drive there from my house.
I wish I could drive. But I called the arcade at Suncoast (laugh all you want...), and they confirmed that they do have Version 3. $1.00 a play, $1.00 for a card.
But that's on a Labor Day weekend. Wait, how about 3:30 till 8:30? Will there be less people then? I really don't know when's the right time to go play Initial D...
I played Initial D v3 yesterday. It was awesome! Much much better than the first too. The Steering wheel is bigger and it feels real. I've got an R32 with body option A.
the steering to me is still the same size. Only difference i see is the feedback and it actually turns a bit more. The feedback is quite strong.. in real life i reckn if cars had the same feedback as iD that be a bit more annoying (powersteering that is)..
w00t. I've been murdering people left and right lately. I beat a 700K Evo 4, that had his aura. The following day, I beat an 800K BNR34, who also had his aura. It was insane. I whooped them both in Usui and Iro. Which surprised me. I've seen the two guys before, and they have some of the best techniques I've ever seen. It might be because I changed my technique, too. I sort of combined both of their techniques into one. That's what one of them said after he raced me. They're on the same team, but I can't remember the name of it. Oh well, I just joined a new team myself. Project Kaido!
Version 3. That's the only version I've played, and the only one I can find around my area. Anywho, I just returned from another 5 hours at the arcade. I murdered, and I mean, M U R D E R E D an automatic MR-2. It's not much of an accomplishment, but he had a big advantage. 1. He had over 100K more than my car. 2. My car only had 20K 3. We were on Usui. 4. My RX-7's top speed blowz. And there's a lot of other advantages....But in the end....It came out with me as the winner....BY 1,300 METERS! After it was all said and done, I talked to him for a few minutes and I was just like...Dude..Just walk away..WALK AWAY! And well, he did. Lmao.
100k more is not much difference. I mean i could beat someone wif a FT car using a stock car. It comes down to skill and on usui its not a matter of having a great top speed. Its about coming out quick out of the 2 hairpins and not hitting anything.. and i think the FD could be better than the mr2 on usui and pretty much most other maps.. the mr2 is generally a harder car to use than the FD i find personally... the FD is one of those easy cars to use, good for beginners.. much like the 8v or evo4..
