Wasn't my intention to be an ass here, and I'm sorry if I was.
But when you put stuff like that in here, I guess I will depend on luck that someone sees what I'm asking for and give me a answer.

It was a EPIC sound in the GIULIA. And it was fun to do two wheels for 100meters after hitting the the curves just after the 12km mark.

I can't wait to get online.

GT5 was supposed to make the 3-week wait for the Turkish GP easier, but that went straight out of the window.

Also, Ponies are awesome, don't doubt my avatar.

Yeah spa is good, best track on earth, and yeah it's a belgian track :)
Raced there before with the BMW-cup, such a technical track and with low powered cars, 2 secs is nothing. The only thing in spa is the weather, one moment sunshine, other side of the track rain.

yep got the gt3 v2. Really precise steering wheel, need to get used to it.
Next month i order the clubsport pedals. Got the order in 2 days, really fast

You have to drive one handed now! That wheel gives you an advantage. You was fast before. Now we have no chance.

So one arm? Deal?
 
I just bought the Thrustmaster T500 RS... waiting for PSN to go live again... :scared: hope to not have wasted 500 € :crazy:

haha... a better wheel doesn't make you faster :) More realism yes. I feel the difference between a curb, a hobble on the track and sliding. With the pedals i will have ability when the abs does his work, that's why i bought the fanatec instead of tr500

You do know the ABS rumble is not functioning on GT5. Or any PS3 game as far as I know. It is a PC feature. ;)


I was totally being sarcastic bit basically trying to complement your new wheel.


Hope the T500 I have had sitting improves my lap times. I have heard that the better the wheel the better the lap times. Not like it will mke you a hero. Just improve on personal bests.

Owens, the abs vibrating is already working on the steering wheel right now, so it should work on the pedals too!? :)

At least I feel changes to the front when I do changes to the front and the other way around.

We need to change the thread title again, instead of a date it should just be "Le Mans-coming soon" or "Le Mans-2011" etc.
 
3 weeks...Possibly even four weeks without PSN.

We should be almost half-way into the championship by now.

Would be good to have a some sort of race warmup because we have to get in shape again with the game :crazy:
 
I'm with you on a practice, to be honest I don't have that much experience with online gameplay. So I just hope I can be competitive with you guys :)
 
I think we should just carry on with the championship as normal, no need for another practice race imo. :) It's up to Arkano though ;)
 
Well if the psn comes back online in the middle of the week we can have practice lobbies to get back into shape. If it comes back online on a Friday/Saturday then maybe another practice race wouldn't be a bad idea, the turn out would be terrible anyway

This week we should be half-way through the championship, yet we haven't even attempted race 2.

We'll continue with the championship as normal, we've done more practice races than we have normal races!

I hope you got my last stint on there, catching Phil and taking him on the last lap has to be up there with one my favourite races.

Infact, I'll rank my favourite online championship races I've competed in:

1) Valencia F1 2011 (almost chose Monaco here, but I made a mistake at Monaco and none at Valencia)
2) Monaco GT5 - All Series Championship
3) Suzuka - Intercontinental GT500

I'm SO desperate to race now. I had a perfect set-up and great speed on Le Sarthe before PSN went down..
