Can anyone that is still taking part in this championship & following the thread please post so, preferably before Saturday. Just so I can get an idea of how many people/who to expect this weekend.

I have a cricket match on saturday so I can't do much practice beforehand but I'll be back before 9

I'll be on tomorrow, I should be home around 1-2pm since my exam starts at 9am and lasts ~2 hours.

I'll try and jump on as soon as I can tomorrow.

Although if no-one posts a bumper cam replay so I can see where and how much I can cut it won't really be worth it!

Yeah cheers, can get 3.48 with huge cutting, which seems cheating to me, so I need to see someone else's lap.

Plus the fact I have hardly ever driven here!

I guess you'll need to rename it to a GT5 replay file name then add it to to the GT5 replay folder on the PS3 because it seems too small for a video.
 
Ah I don't know how to get this to work..It's straight from my camera :(
 
I'll try for a 3:4x.xxx lap in my gt-r and record it. No guarantee I'll be able to though.

Edit: I only managed a 3:50.764 with the GT-R tonight. I'll upload the video in a min.
I'll try again tomorrow morning before I go out with the NSX as well. ;)

Edit 2: Here's the GT-R video -
Just been trying the NSX, I can easily get round the track 2 seconds faster but I always lose it at the final chicane.

It looks like I'm losing time in the first few corners, the second chicane and braking in the third.

How are people going 4 secs quicker than your lap?
 
I'll be there tonight. Going out at about 4 after F1 qualy but i will be back before 9 and hopefully get into practice sessions if i get back early enough.

Setup plays a large part at Le Sarthe for some reason, more so than other tracks.

I think it might be their gearing setup, I'm not that great at setting up gearing.
 
I'm afraid I've been roped into work today and won't be home till around 10ish so I won't be able to participate but at least I should catch the end of the race presuming the race starts at 9pm UK time.
 
The race starts at 9:30, at the latest we can wait until 9:45.

Yeah just start at 9.30 I don't want to hold you up, especially if I have my usual connection problems.... Plus I haven't actually played GT5 in months anyway so I'd probably end up doing rubbish anyway!

You better make it to every other race this season, it sucks not having you on the grid :(

By the way. we're doing 24 laps tonight, not 22.

It's only two extra laps, it shouldn't make too much difference. I apparently made a miscalculation with the laps beforehand.
 
Cmon guys, only 7 of us with an hour until race start.
 
The 24 laps of Le Mans. Has a certain ring to it....
