Yup. So far GTRacerUK, Owen and Roy haven't turned up to more than 1 race at the moment.

We wont get 16 people :p

I seriously need to practice this week, but college is taking its toll. At least there's no Le Mans & F1 to distract me at least.

EDIT:

I've added Grand Valley Speedway as the penultimate race in the calendar into the OP.

Sorry I was at Le Mans this weekend so couldn't make it :sly:.

Are you running a practice session sometime this week so I can see if my connection on GT5 has returned to normal?

That's a valid excuse for one race, but you can't explain the others unless you walked there :D

What Zzxxz said :p

I might be hosting a practice session some time towards the end of the week. I'm just way too tired right now :(

Driving Line: Drivers discretion

Isn't it better when this will be "OFF" in Race?

I personally find it almost impossible to drive with the line off in GT5. For some reason I just cannot see the brake boards for the corners. Which is weird because in F1 2010 I knew almost all of the tracks without racing line.

EDIT: Perfect example of that is Valencia in F1 2010, I could do that track blindfolded. Just ask Kyaw   :sly: :p

I'll do some practice tomorrow, I'm starting my revision for my exam tomorrow now and will only take a sleep break until 13.00 tomorrow

The Tokyo race video will be uploaded tonight. :)

I did some practice on Monday and the NSX is too tail happy even with a soft rear, it's definitely not an NSX track. I'd be suprised if a GTR doesn't win this weekend.

I find it kinda cheating, specially in night races. were the darkness does not have any effect if you just follow the bright racing line...

You can't do it blindfolded... you can do it without the driving line though.

I think you missed the point.

But can you drive with your chin?

just a question related to the start of the races. my time zone is GMT+2, i think for the UK its GMT+1?

UTC is the same as GMT? So for me there is 1 hour diffrence.

Race 5 of 10 | Laps: 38 | 11th June | 20:00 UTC | 21:00 BST

so for me it means the qualy starts at 21:00, the race at 21:30?

It should be 22:00 for you since UCT = GMT.

I didn't know ppl were driving with the driving line on. No wonder why the front runners never miss braking points and I would over shoot a turn every now and then, especially at Le Mans.

well same here , but you can miss your braking whit a driving line, but less risks to do so. :)

I don't like driving whit a raceline, but now i notice other guys do it i don't know yet if i should do. i will decide just before race. :nervous:

So UTC is GMT+0 💡

Yeah, UTC is GMT. The UK changes to BST (British Summer Time) which is GMT+1 during the summer, and reverts back to standard GMT+0 during the winter.

To be fair, it's only me, Kyaw and Netherdragon that drive with the racing line. Everyone else uses it off.

When does the summer start in the uk? :D

We are already using BST. Usually it's from March to October.

Race 5 video is up :)

Usually from around the 25th of March to the 30th of October.

Nah, Summer starts in June. What you're referring to is Daylight Savings. ;)

I'm not gonna turn on the newbie line no matter what, I rather loose then destroy the pleasure of the game with a light blue line showing me the way.

Oh ic. Would you consider going the rest of the season with it off? You're all fast drivers and it'd be fun if you lost concentration and missed your braking point sometimes :) gives everyone a chance to catch up if possible. Just trying to find a way to keep up with ya heh
