@Spa today:
It's more or less a get together. The Track is known to the seasoned competitors. So If a new member is having trouble, there will be help.
In the training lobby I encurage the use of headsets.
I can switch the communication off for driving, since it distracts me.
But you can of course use the text messages.
In the race lobby there is no talk.(disabled)
Even text messages should be kept to the absolute minumum.
(I prefer ZERO ..

)
Settings in race room:

@ Nürburgring 24h (next training/pre saison race):
No parade lap here.

Polyphony did no good job here.Kaz should know, that in real life you start your hotlap with a run on the GP part, but then re-enter the starting-straight.
I can live with that.
I want to use weather.
Since we use tyre wear , a shower will kill your race if you are in the middle of the lap and/or have worn tyres.
In real life thats what you have to deal with, but there should be a minimum
amount of fun left.
So I want to start with a wet track and stable weather:
40% water on track
Weather : 0
Time : 08:00
Timelapse: 10
?stability?: 10
Track will dry out and stay dry.
It is possible to start on racing soft and do at least 2 in my case up to 4 laps.
My knowledgde is that on a drying track with @ 35% water, racing soft is faster.
Also the tyres will last longer.
My personal setup for this is different:
(only changes to other setup noted)
20 / 20 Diff: 5 / 60 / 60
1 / 7
3 / 1
1 / 7
0.0 / 0.2
-0.35 +0.95
@ weather:
on all other shorter tracks we should/could do "normal weather".
Suggestions?
Hope to see some of you today.
