The race modified cars from GT5 are now sold separately in the same dealerships as the original models, like the TCs that were available as DLC in GT5.
There are no race modified cars outside of the original 17 + the GT5 Car Pack DLC

Hence no race modifications in GT6. What I said wasn't wrong and didn't need correcting.

He didn't correct you, he just clarified. All the race mods from GT5 are in GT6, plus the TC dlcs from GT5. You just can't go to GTauto and get a racing modification. You instead buy the race car. Removes useless coding and is lighter on the ol' credits.

I know they're not officially considered race modified cars, but they're very similar in that they're racing versions by PD of premium cars and are now sold separately.
And yes, you are correct, there are no race modifications in GT6, but I was just clarifying so everyone else understands that the modified cars are still in the game

Yes, that's fine. But this was discussed a lot when the master car list was released. There was lots of people asking about the Base Models and a lot of belief that they were GT6's answer to Race Mods.
