I've noticed in gt5 tyres/tires are sometimes spelt differently in different screens.
I.e. Some places in the game they're spelt the American way (tires) and in other places they're spelt correctly (tyres).

This was particularly apparent in one of the seasonal events where in same event at one track you could use sports soft tires and at another track it was sports soft tyres.

Technically they are both spelled correctly. we just have different languages so our spelling and even pronunciation if differing from other nations

I find that when you put spoilers on cars Big or small they all have the same pp gain.. In real life Bigger wings equals more aero which should increase pp.. alothough my opinion still true

I.e. Some places in the game they're spelt the right way (tires) and in other places they're spelt wrongly (tyres).

FTFY :D:sly::lol::p hehehehe

The treads on the tires of racecars never change, all ways looking as if they have racing tyres on. This does not apply to road cars though.

came across a glitch where PP of a car will increase after a race. For instance when i use my R35 TC on the nurburgring a-spec seasonal, after i finish the race i breach regulations because my pp increased to 651. So i adjust downforce a notch, race again, and afterwards im back at 651!

:boggled:
The game has been out for two years and this is still news to people?

"Some folks are just now starting to play it." Okay, I'm aware of that. Not sure how many of the folks who didn't know about break-in are actually new to the game though, but this has also been common knowledge of the game for a long time. I suppose next we'll discuss how car damage allegedly kicks into play later into A-Spec after you've gained enough levels.

There's also a glitch where you can't trade cars over a million credits.

What I thought was interesting is that not all the trophy or cup cars are the same... for example, the Clio Trophy Race car has an adjustable LSD pre-installed while the Lutecia Trophy Race car does not.

They're basically the same car, so what's up with that???

Have a good one

Nop , I just tested in Ram 1500 Laramie , GT-R Tokyo 2001 and Volvo 240 GLT Estate and the weight distribution didn't changed.

I saw this reply a few days ago and decided I'd like to look into it. It took me a while to have the chance, but I did a little testing on this. Using the code window as it's the only way I know to keep columns straight on this forum. I sorted them by weight to help read. As far as I know all cars were stock but I didn't spend the time to make sure.

Code:

I'm not sure how one would manage to get no change from the Volvo or Ram as they both changed for me. As you would expect, the heavier the car and the nearer to 50/50 its natural balance is, the less effect 200kg right in the center will have.

I haven't done all the math to see if it's always exactly the same or if it's exactly the way it should be in real-world physics. It does however seem to follow this expected pattern overall. Of course we can't see less than a full percentage change which makes things more difficult.

So anyway, I'd think that it would actually be more surprising to find a car that doesn't fit this pattern. Although that still might be a better fit for the "cars with interesting traits" thread rather than this one.

Same with any other cars that don't show reverse lights, like the Ferrari F430. And when lighting up the reverse lights on old standard cars the white light behind the car smoothly turns on/off while it's just a frame on/frame off on the actual car.

I noticed this with a Mazda rx-8 concept too. I was racing the Mazda rx-8 concept standard & I saw white light behind me in reverse at night.

In online race - when you fall out of the track and decide to go back to PIT, your car's tires will be dusty.

Neither the Kubelwagen nor Schwimmwagen's headlights can be turned on manually like the other premium vehicles.

Some cars, when reaching speeds of over 240Mph, largely lose the ability to turn.

this is smart driving. it is also the reason if you barely apply the throttle and turn all the way your tires will make it to about 40 degrees. which is also why you spin out with your tires turned at a stand still and go full throttle. if you were allowed to turn the car at 240mph... lets just say realistically the car would never turn anything again.

The RUF Yellowbird, BTR and Lancia Stratos are among the few cars where the majority of steering is done with the throttle :sly:

When you paint the wheels in GT Auto. The reflection on the floor remains the original colour. When you gift a car that has been repainted. The receiver gets the original paint chip not the new colour.

Not true about the second part.

If I paint a car chrome that was originally black, and then send it to someone else (or I receive it) then I also get the new colour which is Chrome.
I think you're maybe confused with DLC only paints or something.

That's the Isuzu 4200R '89 Concept. 👍

When you paint a Sl 300 '54 the wheels will stay in the cars original color and you aren't able to change the wheels to aftermarket ones :ouch:
