Hi Everyone!

I am from Brazil! 🇧🇷

I played racing games on Playstation 2, the first game I played was Need for Speed Most Wanted!

I don't have a steering wheel to play games, I only play with a controller!

I enjoy games like Forza Horizon, Need for Speed, Gran Turismo, Minecraft, and fighting games like Dragon Ball.

Learning more about Gran Turismo setup tips, checking out cool mods like GT6 Spec II, and talking about racing games with everyone!

I'm happy to be here!

Hi everyone 🤗!

I'm from italy and could describe myself as a sim-racer who is no longer exactly young, but not yet ready for the scrap heap 😄... and, in my own small way, an AC modder (cars but also interested in exploring track creation/modding)...
My rig is currently basic, a T300+ tlcm

Hello! I'm Void. And you have no idea how literal that feels right now at this point in my life...but that's another story.
  • I don't remember how I found GTPlanet, probably a few years ago was Googling car setups or Gran Turismo or F1 related stuff, then didn't really use the site until a couple of months back when I finally got GT7 and started looking for online racing leagues, so I probably Googled again cuz I remember I even tried registering and the site was like "you already have an account" so...yeah.
  • I'm from Costa Rica
  • I started playing racing games probably in the early 00's with Gran Turismo, we used to go to a classmate's house and take turns to race each other in split screen. I think I have played every single Gran Turismo to an extent, either by myself, with friends, with cousins, but never took it seriously or were like 1 to 2 hours weekly or even monthly (I didn't have any consoles back then). It wasn't until a couple of months ago that I started playing online, before that I just raced the single player events and did (awful) car liveries.
  • I play with a controller, I don't feel like I am good enough to play with a wheel, like, in my own mind I don't deserve it yet lol
  • I play mainly JRPG's, action and adventure games. I'm currently playing Borderlands 3 eventhough I suck at shooters (or any other game really), recetly finished Final Fantasy 16 and I'm about to start Stellar Blade. Hack & Slah games are my favorite. Games like Bayonetta, Nier Automata and Devil May Cry are the ones I enjoy the most, aside from racing which actually I'm not enjoying too much currently for a number of reasons. I have played some Need for Speed and the F1 games a couple of years ago.
  • My main goal is become a better driver of course, nothing too serious I'm not trying to become Max Verstappen here, but somewhat decent and competitive though I am a loooooong ways from that. I have met some great poeple here in the online racing leagues threads. And my dream is to build a succesful racing league of my own, though my very first and recent attempt was a miserable failure (R.I.P. No Grip Society) there are new ideas I have in mind and got some great advice from already successful leage managers, but I'm not keeping my hopes high to be honest.
As you can see, I like to write. Ironically, I'm very quiet and don't like to talk much. I have a great passion for graphic design and video editing too, which I try to implement as much as I can in the leagues I've been a part of and have been allowed to. Also, I have too much free time on my hands so I figured I would check the world beyond the online racing forums and stumbled upon this thread so I was like sure, it's not like I have anything better to do right now and I might make some new friends.

Hi everyone,

I came across GTPlanet while looking for a racing league to join

I’m from the United States

I started playing racing games about 8 or so years ago

I use a Logitech G29 Racing Wheel

Some other games I enjoy besides Gran Turismo are Ghost of Tsushima, Spider-Man 1 & 2, Forza Horizon, and Call of Duty

I’m looking forward to joining races, improving my racecraft, learning from other drivers, and being part of a community that shares my interest in motorsports.

  • How did you find GTPlanet? Google asking questions about GT7
  • Where are you from? Belgium
  • When did you start playing racing games? when I was 16 years old
  • Do you play with a steering wheel? If so, what kind do you use? controller... would love to use a Wheel though.
  • What other games do you enjoy? driving simulators
  • What are you most looking forward to doing in the community? Get advices and discuss best settings

Good morning from the Netherlands.

I am Sjoerd, 38 years old, and I have been visiting GT-PLanet for quite a while. Actually, I’ve always just read. Since I’m starting to take racing more seriously, I decided to create an account here as well.

At the moment, I race on the PS5 (mainly GT7 (without DLC) and occasionally F1 25 (2026 DLC)). I’m still playing with a controller at the moment, but I’m gradually getting tired of it; it seems like you’re just a lot faster with a steering wheel.

Furthermore, on Mondays, if I have time, I participate in a competition. I don’t know if there are sites where other competitions are held that give you a ranking or something... But it would be nice if races were held at random times. That way, I can race whenever I have time. It would be great if "this" website collected the statistics of all races and gave you a "rating" or kept track of your stats.

Where I could really still learn a thing or two is with the setups in almost all games. I just can't seem to get them right. I usually use standard setups or see what other people are trying.

hi there, i am an old fart from the old modding days of GTR2,rF and so on. I mainly watch your AC channel just to see what is going on in the modding scene of racing games nowadays.

Hi everyone!

I found this forum while searching for information about GT7 telemetry. There are a lot of great discussions here and I've already learned a lot.

Really glad I found this community. Nice to meet you all!

About 20 years ago I used to hang out on the GTF and then the GTX forums. My memory from then is somewhat hazy, but those forum pages disbanded and some members found homes here, others just disappeared. There are a few members I’ll never forget.

I’m from Australia

I’ve been playing racing games since Noah was a lad. I reckon my first racing game was on Atari 2600. I distinctly remember getting hooked on a game called stunt track driver on PC, test drive and racing for pink slips in the aqueduct and mullholand drive in steet rod II.

I have a Logitech G29 in a cupboard. I don’t think it’s seen the light of day for a decade.

I mostly play strategy games on PC these days. Still love me a game of Civ.

I’d love to reconnect with a few of the old GTF/GTX members. I can see a few familiar names here. If anyone remembers me from 20 years ago, hit me up. I’d love to hear from you.

Cheers

Hello! My name is Scotty Campbell from Charleston,WV. I am new to the forum and have been looking to connect with similar skilled racers who share the same interests in their use of and play. I try to stay out of people's way and not cause friction or accidents and am trying to steady shaving time each lap, although man at times it's a wonder.
I play mostly Gran Turismo 7 on PS5 but also play F1'25, Assetto Corsa Comp., GRID Legends, and Nascar Arcade Rush, all on the 5, and sometimes still play Forza4 with my buddy on his Xbox360. I also play FC'25, EA NCAA FB'26, and NBA 2K'25. I like Air Conflicts:Pacific Carriers, Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown, and Tennis World Tour 2 also.

But my day mostly consists of laps on GT7.

My fave Tracks right now are the Eiger Nordwand, Grand Valley Highway 1, and the Autodrome Lago Maggiore.

I go back and forth on what wheels I like to spin. I love the 3500's F1 cars and have been impressed with the McLaren 650s Gr3 and tbe Genesis Gr3 both for their handling, mainly what I hope for in a car.

I am back and forth on my time spent playing between sport and lobby but mostly run sport, although I dont get the finishes I hope to soon get.
I tend to like the ride specific daily race A but run all 3 and always run the world series qualifying events on Saturdays in the bottom league.

I am wanting to lead a couple unique private leagues in the near future, each a specific genre of racing with one being an open wheel f1 type league (GT7), one a Nascar type league, and the other a Gr3 , all GT7 and hope I can find enough D league racers to take it serious enough and commit to it however we decide to lay each league out.
Right now for another short window I have been blessed with my only little break in life as far as work time off and have been able to play more than I ever would have in life so that has been awesome.
When I get into good racing battles towards the back of my daily races if me and another driver get into a good challenge, I always try to send their account a msg stating GG and send a friend request to them and its these folks I hope eventually I can prop to join me in our own little league of hopeful competition and good quality racing outlined throughout a scripted season long schedule we create and maintain with all the possible features like live streaming of league events and unique league liveries with our groups logo and any partnerships we may bring forth.
I am in the early stages of my recruitment and hope maybe this forum and community might assist in connecting.
Please consider shooting me a msg here or on game, I am awake all day and all night most days so whenever is good.

My psn name is scotty-c-304
And my GT7 is scottyc304

Thanks for reading and having me in your community. I am not the most forum savvy user but I have messed around on some sports cards ones (blowout, tcdb) in the past. If I make a mistake please forgive me ahead of time. My apologies.

Hi everyone, I'm Tibor from Slovakia. I got into sim racing mainly through my son Dominik, who races karts competitively. We use sim racing as part of his training, and over time I became especially interested in braking technique and how to practice things like brake pressure control, consistency and trail braking.

That eventually led me to build a small browser-based training project called BrakeMaster, originally just to give Dominik another way to practice off track. I'm still developing it and learning a lot from other sim racers along the way.

I joined GTPlanet because I've found some really interesting discussions here about braking, pedals and driving technique, so I thought it was time to stop just reading and actually join the conversation.

Looking forward to learning from you guys!
