Hi everyone 👋
Aymeric From France here.

I came up GTPlanet a few times looking for infos on engine swaps or Gran Turismo News
I started playing on my dad’s GT3 when I was round 4.
I had a T300RS I had to sell and I play on PS5 controller until I can afford a new one 🥲
I don’t play much anymore so I play mostly GT7 and the new Skate game

Chris30 · Sep 23, 2026

Memetrix · Sep 24, 2026

Hi everyone!

How did you find GTPlanet? Google
Where are you from? Russia originally, living in Turkey for years now
When did you start playing racing games? PS1 days, GT fan for about 25 years
Do you play with a steering wheel? Had a G25 back in the day, want to get back on a wheel soon
What other games do you enjoy? Mario Kart lol
What are you most looking forward to doing in the community? Getting people to try my GT PSP mod and tell me what's broken

I love old consoles, every one of them does something the others can't and I still find that interesting. So I end up taking stuff apart and making it do things it wasn't supposed to.

Latest example: Gran Turismo PSP Career. Hong Kong, Rome Circuit, Complex String and Smokey Mountain now run on a real PSP without crashing. Thread here: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/gran-turismo-psp-career-—-public-beta.439564/

Ideas for GT PSP or other GT games, or know GT PSP internals? PM me, I'll probably miss replies in here.

SteveAmHydro · Sep 25, 2026

Played GT Sport and GT7 for not a ton and not really serious with a controller, and never got into it. Bought a G29 about a year ago and played a bit of Truck Sim and GT7, but lost interest. Around Memorial Day, I randomly decided to play before I maybe sell it,.and something just clicks and I get super into it. Within a month, I buy a PSVR2 and RS50, and am completely hooked

dieperepe · Sep 29, 2026

Hi, I found GTPlanet on twitter with the news they post.
I'm Spain.
I started playing racing videogames when i was 7.
I have used a Fanatec GT DD Pro of 8nm, mostly on iracing.
Other games I like to play are World of Tanks, Minecraft, job simulators like PC Building Simulator and games likely these.
What I'm looking for in this forum is to meet people with likely interests, watching what is being cooked here and maybe entering a team (I'm not actively looking for a team but I'm opened to join one if its interesting the offer).

KiwiPatch · Oct 1, 2026

Actually I asked AI to suggest a good place to go as a complete NOOB to Sim Racing. I live in Dunedin New Zealand and recently purchased a second hand G29 wheel and pedals primarily for use with American Truck Simulator. Thought I would give Sim Racing a go. Used to play IndyCar way back when. I have got Assetto Corsa and Assetto Corsa Competizione. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

VenomChopper · Oct 2, 2026

I found Gtplanet while looking for a website that tracked GT7 world records. I just put a lap time in the at the Nurburgring in a completely stock Sf23 Toyota super formula, and I’m trying to figure out if it’s close to a world record at that track. I know the actual fastest time is a 5:10 lap time, but that car used had changes made to the tuning. My car is completely stock. As is from the car dealership. I didn’t change a single thing other than a put a Max Verstappen livery on it. My lap was a blistering 5:19.913. I looked it up and I’ve been told by multiple sources that that’s in the top 1% of players, but I’m not 100% sure

ya007 · Oct 2, 2026

I discovered GTPlanet when I was looking for high-quality GT7 car tuning and track tips.
I hope to learn more advanced setups, watch great lap replays and chat with fellow GT fans in this community.

Devlyn · Oct 2, 2026

I've know about GTPlanet since 2002, I keep up with almost all things Gran Turismo related.

I live in North West Minnesota.

I started playing racing games somewhere around 1989/1990

I am a controller driver.

I play mostly console sim racing games, rpg, and adventure games.

I'm hoping to make friends to chase on the leaderboards and get some tuning tips. (I don't have PlayStation plus right now so I can't race in lobbies but I can time trial like crazy.)

DBSimRacing · Oct 5, 2026

Hi everyone, am from Toronto, Canada.

My racing-game obsession goes way back to the original Gran Turismo 1 and 2.

I played the crap out of those games and spent endless hours unlocking and collecting every flavour of Supra and Skyline I could get my hands on — TOM'S, Denso, Pennzoil, Calsonic... those cars are permanently burned into my memory!

Over the last couple of years, I’ve gotten much more serious about sim racing.

These days I spend most of my time on iRacing, particularly GT3, Porsche Cup and prototypes on the iRacing side.

I currently run a triple-screen setup with a Simagic Alpha EVO Pro, GT Neo wheel and Logitech G Pro pedals.

I enjoy the hardware side of the hobby almost as much as the racing itself — experimenting with setups, pedal feel, FFB and generally trying to get more out of the equipment.

That interest eventually led me into designing and developing some of my own sim-racing hardware: pedal mod kits for g pro and RS pedals, which has been a really interesting journey.

I came across GTPlanet while digging through the Logitech G Pro discussions and finally decided to join. Looking forward to discuss and learn about new ideas for hardware and mods!

Glad to finally be here!

Syed

Welcome to the site man, I'm Chris. My first console was the legendary ps1 which we brought as a Christmas gift back in December 1997. My stepdad saved up some money and got it for me. My mom did too. That started my addiction to video games. Enjoy yourself here mate.

FarabiFirzan1 · Oct 5, 2026

Hi everyone! 👋

I'm FarabiFirzan from Indonesia. I'm really excited to finally join GTPlanet!

I've been playing Gran Turismo for a long time, mostly focusing on Gran Turismo 4 and the PSP version. Sometimes I also play Gran Turismo 7, even though I don't own a PS4 or PS5 yet. Overall, I love pretty much anything related to cars and motorsport.

Since this is my first time joining a global community, I'm really looking forward to learning from you all, talking about racing, and making new friends here.

See you around the forums! 🏁

McAdam79 · Oct 7, 2026

Hi everybody,

I'm Mac from France.

I found this forum while looking for a way to ask Polyphony to add the cars I'd like to drive;
I play racing games since 1998 (GT, Test drvie and NFS);
I still play with a classic controller and look to setup a homemade "racing simulator" at home with my kids;
I also play FPS and logic games;
I like discussion, tips and exchanging ideas with others.

Hope to see a lot of new cars list here

Mac.

AnimalTurismo · Oct 7, 2026

I don't remember making an introduction post here, but screw it:

How did you find GTPlanet?
I honestly forgot.

Where are you from?
I came from the land of Dreamalong where I am born a sentient puppet. Haha, just kidding. I'm from Malaysia.

When did you start playing racing games?
Since I was a child. I saw my biological dad playing NFS Underground.

Do you play with a steering wheel? If so, what kind do you use?
None, just a controller. I was honestly gonna get one painted in Aqua Shift (it was Archie-like), but I only get Deep Pink, because Mom treats Carousell like it's a shady marketer. I still kept it because I like pink.

What other games do you enjoy?
PEAK, REPO, GTA V, Forza Horizon, Burnout, Tomodachi Life, amongst others

What are you most looking forward to doing in the community?
Just hanging around

ripp3rdoc · Oct 8, 2026

1. How did you find GTPlanet?

I found GTPlanet while searching for information about Gran Turismo, sim racing equipment, racing setups, and tips to improve my driving skills.

2. Where are you from?

I'm 48 years old and from Poland.

3. When did you start playing racing games?

I used to play racing games years ago, but at some point I took a long break. Over the past two years, I've mainly been playing driving simulators like Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator. However, about a month ago, I became completely obsessed with Gran Turismo, F1, and Assetto Corsa. Now I'm seriously getting into sim racing!

4. Do you play with a steering wheel? If so, what kind do you use?

I used to have a MOZA Racing setup, but I've recently sold it. I'm currently planning to buy a Fanatec ClubSport DD+ with a Porsche 911 GT3 R steering wheel. From now on, I'm focusing exclusively on sim racing equipment compatible with the PlayStation 5.

5. What other games do you enjoy?

I'm a huge Call of Duty fan! I've played every game in the series, spending countless hours on them over the years. FPS games have always been a big part of my gaming life.

6. What are you most looking forward to doing in the community?

I've recently developed a huge passion for sim racing, especially Gran Turismo. Since I'm still pretty much a beginner, I'm eager to learn everything I can about car setups, improving my lap times, and exploring new sim racing hardware. I'm looking forward to learning from experienced drivers, exchanging tips, and becoming a better racer along the way!

antonioclb · Oct 15, 2026

Hello! Happy to be here!
My name's Antonio and I'm from Italy.
Found GTPlanet long time ago but never registered until today.
I play GT7 since february 2026 (online since may 2026) with my (PSU-problem-modded) Thrustmaster T598 with stock (preferred) and T-GT wheel (bad shifting paddles IMHO) and Raceline LC pedals. My rig is a SimXPro GT-RS + PlaySeat Evolution seat (aka Frankenstein rig! ^__^). Using PS VR2 from the first day of GT7. At the moment I play mainly in VR2 and sometimes on monitor. I'm not fast but I'm trying to improve!

I like Street Fighter series games too and I'm very enthusiast about music, emulation and retrogaming.

Hope the best for you all! ^__^

Hello everyone! I’ve been lurking for around 10 years now and have finally decided to make an account. I’ve been a fan of cars and motorsport my entire life and have been playing Gran Turismo and other racing games for a long time.

Hi Jordan! I'm Abel, from northern Puerto Rico. I've been playing Gran Turismo since the late '90s and recently found GTPlanet while searching for lap records. I'm currently focused on improving my GT1 time trial records and connecting with fellow racers who enjoy friendly competition. Glad to be part of the community! 🏁

fenixuk · Oct 19, 2026

Hi everyone, I'm Justin aka Fenix on PSN, I've just return to the GT7 after a long break as I went back to playing County Pool after the Covid Era, but this time I'm on a PS5 .

I'm hoping to become a GT7 content creator and I've already setup a YouTubeChannel and a couple of Social Platforms under @fenixsimracinguk banner.

Considering the long break I've had I'm currently getting back up to speed on GT7, I'm not the quickest on the game and only a mid pack and mid grid racer.

As I'm completely new to content creation, I'm always looking for advice and tips on how to improve my content as I grow my YouTube Channel and Socials Platforms.

My content will focus on close, hard racing in the midpack. As I said I'm not the quickest yet, but I will always bring exciting action, mainly in Gr.3 and Gr.4 as I work on improving my racecraft, finding more pace to get faster, and climbing up the grid.

I'm a huge tin top fan following the BTCC, TCR UK, and TCR Europe. I'm also a massive Arsenal FC fan and love nothing more than chilling out by listening to Country Music even when I'm racing.

How did you find GTPlanet?

I was searching for a new Sim Racing Team on Google and GTPlanet was at the top of the search

Where are you from?

Tunbridge Wells, Kent

When did you start playing racing games?

I started playing Gran Turismo on the PS3 with my late mate where we used to do the Endurance Races as a team, I then graduated to Gran Turismo Sport on the PS4 where I started to take it a lot more serious through Covid.

Do you play with a steering wheel? If so, what kind do you use?

I'm currently using a Logitech G29 with a Playseat Challenger Seat which was a Facebook Marketplace bargain, I will be upgrading to a GT Omega ART or Prime Lite R cockpit paired with the new Moza R5S Pro Bundle when it’s released

What other games do you enjoy?

Mainly play GT7 as I'm looking at getting into content creation with GT7

What are you most looking forward to doing in the community?

I'm looking forward to contributing to the chats on the forum and looking for advice on how to improve my racecraft, laptimes, as well as sharing my content which I'll be uploading to my YouTube Channel and my Social Platforms

Thanks for having me
Fenix

RaisingErmac · Oct 20, 2026

Hi. I'm RaisingErmac, and I'm from Italy (the country of Ferrari, but I prefer McLaren 😂😂😂). I have a passion for the motorsport (especially for the cars) and I love all the cars and motorsport culture in general, especially tuning and "street" racing (my favorite style is like the one in Need For Speed ProStreet). I started playing racing games when I was a child (like 25 years ago), and I like gran turismo in general, but also other series like Juiced, Need For Speed, Burnout and Forza motorsport (I played a lot of racing games 😅). I play racing games on a controller, maybe a day I will use a steering wheel, I don't know 😅. I already knew GTPlanet years ago, and now I'm here because I love Gran Turismo 7, but it still has a lot of little problems (maybe also some big ones, like local multiplayer), and I would have the chance to give my feedback hoping that some developer read my comments and can consider my desires for what I want to be added and what I want to be improved (also relating to the performances of the game, like bugs, freezes and some other stability problems).

bagasputraz55 · Wednesday at 12:22 AM

Hello Jordan and the GTPlanet community. Here's some quick introduction.

First of all, you can call me Bagas.

The first time I saw GTPlanet was when I'm looking for Gran Turismo guides, such as Weekly Challenges, Daily Races, and Online Time Trials.

I'm from Indonesia, currently 18 years old.

My memories of playing my first racing game was around 6 or 7 years old with Gran Turismo 6.

No, I don't play with a steering wheel for now, always relying on the good old controller. (maybe one day i'll be able to afford it.)

Other games I've played included Genshin Impact, Honkai Star Rail, Zenless Zone Zero, Umamusume: Pretty Derby, and many more. Though I rarely played these gacha games lately from fatigue, burnout, and in some cases, trauma. So I'm mostly focused on racing games for now.

I'm looking forward in communicating, interacting, and share our best interest here in GTPlanet with everyone. Cheers!

costingxg · Wednesday at 12:35 PM

Hi, everyone! I'm Costin
I'm a huge fan of old school Formula 1 and also rally.

I recently found GTPlanet when looking for Assetto Corsa mods
I'm from Romania, Europe
I started playing racing games loong time ago, about 1990... can you imagine I played exclusively on keyboard until last year? with the exception of testing 2 times a wheel (on belts)
Now I have a Moza R5 and I'm happy I live these great times of peak simracing
Other than racing games, I like adventure games (puzzle, point-and-click stuff), also the fighting (like MK) & FPS ones (like Doom) were an important part of my childhood
I'm looking for rare mods, cars & liveries of the F1's golden years (50s-70s)

mikebuds4 · Wednesday at 2:59 PM

Hello Everyone,

I am Michael, from the United States. I found GT Planet by simply looking around for GT7 discussion. I have played racing games the majority of my life. Namely NFSU2 and Burnout when I was younger. Motorsports is a newer interest of mine. I have been playing GT7 since January 2026 and following F1 since mid summer last year. My setup is a g29 and G Pro Pedals on a folding rig. Besides GT7 I play FIFA and 2k. I look forward to chatting about the daily races and qualifying.
