Is there a way to go to a previous update for a specific app.

I'm using the 1st gen model which doesn't update past 3.1.3 and now my google translate and motor trend crash upon opening

I don't know of a solid method, but what I would do is sync all your apps and content with your computer, wipe everything on your iPod via hardware reset and update it to whatever firmware you want to stay at. Afterwards, bring all your stuff back on.

I dont think you can. Those apps will probably have an update in the near future.

Ok, I've tried resetting it, it won't update past 3.1.3, thanks anyway

No, there is no way to download or install older versions of apps after they have been updated.
