I don't have it, I have been using CSP but after I seen These I think eventually I'll get John's mod.

Concerning pedals I've been using the stock T500s. The Bodin mod looks like an option, but wondering about customer support. Have exchanged a few emails with Todd regarding his CST F1 pedals. Beutiful in design for sure. Was wondering if anyone already has these and what their experience has been.

From what I've seen and read they would probably be the last set of pedals one would have to buy. I know they are a bit pricey, but so are the new Clubsport wheels. Just want to get some opinions from the group.

If I thought the Skippy was a handful before...

At Laguna Seca it's almost impossible to drive, for most cars that's an easy course to drive...

Turn one I find hard to take with any speed at all, maybe 30mph all the way round, and then the banked tuns after the Corkscrew are another type of beast...

I just don't know how to make up the 7 seconds I am down on the leaders.

Oran Park and Lotus 49 up for pre-sale!!

Rockingham up for pre order as well! Of all the tracks on iracing Rockingham is the closest to me. I also went there and watched a couple nascar races as a kid and raced on the dragstrip there across the street a couple times back when I was into drag racing. Been waiting for it to come to iracing for a while now.

I'm nervously awaiting the MP4-12C GT3, looks like it'll be tight for that car! Either that or we will get a nice surprise from iRacing on week 13??

I have high hopes for the mclaren, anybody know when the ruf is going to be available?

I still have never understood the point of pre ordering. If you got some sort of discount or bonus for pre ordering I could understand the point of it but, you don't. So, other than not having to pay for it the day it comes out and getting it maybe a minute faster, I see absolutely no point.

They where having problems on getting a car to scan, apparently they've found one and are now scheduled to scan it. So I won't be expecting that car till 2013 S2. The Hondas they are supposed to be scanning shortly and hopefully we'll be getting them by S1 2013.

I suppose it's more a marketing excercise more than anything, smething to get people's interest and all hyped up.

Ran the Mustang at Summit Point this evening, started 5th and I don't know what happened.. Fell back to 16th. Worked my way back up to 8th and 6th place crashes, then proceeds to pull out in the middle of the track and stop right as myself and 9th come up on him.. Needless to say it didn't end well..

DTM stands for "Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters" which is "German Touringcar Masters" in English. It does exist since 2000.

Thank you Sir, now why didn't Erik just say this.

I wouldn't worry about support, if John put them out he will stand behind them. The CST still break down just like any other pedal set, you might have to wait months to get parts. I talked to Todd over a year ago and he told me he could get me a set of his pedals in 8-10 weeks, yet forums are full of people saying more like 5-6 months they are waiting.

You are absolutely correct, they should at least offer 5% off, but no they don't offer anything. I never understood that myself, having said that I'm off to get my order in. :D

2nd in a Mustang race tonight so pretty happy. Started on pole, lost the lead with 6 laps to go.. Oh well.

I havent been racing lately with stuff going on, im itching to get back out there but with no money for new DLC and Nvidia Cup just so boring i cant bring myself to put in the hours. Especially when every time i race it puts me in the top split and im no where near as fast as the top 3 guys usually. Guess ill try to do some races real quick and see if my fortune improves.

edit: Cool, first race a i jump in i set a personal best lap record and manage to run a very clean race. Had i not been help up i would have made a run at the podium. 59.1 @ Lime Rock? What?

Tony Gardner is alluding to the fact that we should be receiving all these new planned cars (Lotus, McLaren, Honda HSV and Civic, RUF, etc) sooner than we are all thinking. He says lately cars have taken more time because they've been concentrating so much on improving current cars that we already have. I guess that will be shifting back to producing new cars now. Hopefully we can have all of those cars listed by mid-2013.

You must be a C license now Mac or higher? You should move over to the Riley DP next season, I think you would do very well with them. IMO the Mustang is one very challenging car to race well with.

Nice, though I am in agreement with others here that I am not a fan of the Lotus 49. I have not decided if I will buy the Lotus49. If I do buy it will be to support iRacing as I don't see myself using it that often.

I implore you to spend that money and make a better difference to the world. I don't think iRacing will disappear if you didn't !

Maybe this video helps:

Though it's from October 2011, not sure how much the physics of the car have changed, if anything. Rewatching this makes me want to drive the Skippy again, it's a pretty fun series. Maybe I'll get back to it on S4.

Been C for awhile now, finishing off the season in the Mustang Challenge and the Inracing New Challenge in the Solstice (for points). I run the occasional Nvidia and Cadillac cup race as well. Thinking of the Ford GT, Corvette, or DP for next season..

Just bought a D Class Oval car, now to do my MPR and get above 3.0 in this week and I'll have promotion.

And now to do a TT in the Mustang to get above 3.0!

My seat has arrived!

For 195$ shipped I got a Kirkey seat with custom aluminum mount and playseat sliders.

Went ahead and bought the tracks I need to finish the Mustang season off, as well as the Ford GT. What a great car! Managed a 1:25 flat around Road Atlanta with a stock setup, 2nd lap ever in the car and at Road Atlanta, so with a better setup and a bit more practice I can knock a few seconds off.. Looking forward to it. Plan on running Petit next month to..

Very good and fast setups, I always use Niek's setups:
