Eric W.I went and found the results from the 2/25/12 running of the iRacing Daytona 500. I wanted to post those results here to give people some perspective and drive home the idea of taking our time and being smart.
There were 38 splits. The fewest cautions across all 38 races was two cautions. The next lowest was four. Every other split had 5 or more, with some getting into 15 to 20 territory. Most races had 10 cars or less finish on the lead lap due to damage and attrition. I found a few races where 10 guys or less seemed to finish. Guys registered top tens running multiple laps down.
Let's not be stupid. Let's just be smart.
iMikeTheKingMy race last year lasted me 2 hours and were not even half way through the race. we had 14 cautions in that race.
JavBet I get taken out before the halfway mark!
Good luck everyone!!
Played it safe. Got taken out with less than 20 laps in. I thought we got a reset? Not me! Bunch of numbskulls!!
These races bring out all the good and bad of people. Mistakes happen but to not be able to run a 15 laps without issues or idiots who just want to wreck others gets old.
Since the previous build i can't keep the same FFB settings for each car.
Is there a way to save the FFB options for each car instead for all the cars?
