Thanks guys I bought 8 things for a total of $86.08. I got the Chevy Truck, Chevy Gen 6, Daytona, Chicagoland, Iowa, Michigan, New Smyrna, and Rockingham. When I renew in May I will try to spend $60 on road content.

EDIT: I think i'm going crazy because this latency issue I have been having for the last month and a half or so is wearing me out. I no longer feel safe racing around other drivers and hoping I can resolve this issue sometime this week.

Kia Optima Race Car, races in SCCA, coming for the next season I believe.

400bhp FWD

Definitely this one before the RUF.

I'll buy the Kia for sure but I'm looking forward to the Ruf more so. I would have never guessed that the SCCA has been around as long as it has. Thanks MildAshers

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure it's 10% for 3 pieces of content and 20% for 6.

My bad, it's been a while since I made a purchase, couldn't remember for sure. So would it be 30% for 9?

The Kia will be a free car :)

It seems like as of late, there are some boneheads I've come across like tonight. We were in a hosted race at Dega in the new Gen 6 cars.

First issue we had was one guy being way aggressive which eh it happens but then after few thigns all got sorted out. The leader (we did single file for who knows why) didn't go when the flag dropped and he want to argue that you don't go til after the start/finish line. I have heard some dumb things but that one by far takes the cake and I've never seen any racing series might not allow passing but that's it.

Then we had this guy who kept blocking which almost wrecked everyone a few times forcing himself down or up. Finally he got wrecked doing it and when we caught him he wrecked me (I was the leader) when I went to avoid him.

Sorry guys, I have been gone the past couple days and couldn't respond.
The Kia will be interesting being FWD, is that 100% correct?

The Kia will not be free. That was only forum speculation.

Steve Myers confirmed it will not be free the other day on Twitter.

He also said that it won't be rookie class and it will likely be paired with the Cadillac in a multi-class series.

Yes, definitely FWD. Gonna be an interesting drive.

I thought part of the deal was it had to be free for a year, similar to their deal with Cadillac.

I played it EXTREMELY safe at Rockingham in the race yesterday. I think my best lap was like a 34.2 when almost everyone else was in the mid-33's or even low-33's. Just too many people couldn't handle the exit of turn 1-2 and would go right into the wall. I started dead last and just hung out in the back for the entire race because I couldn't get the courage to make a pass on the other cars since they were so erratic. I ended up finishing 10th I think out of 23, not too bad for being 1/2-1sec off the pace. We had a few good 30 lap or so green runs, but the very beginning and very end of the race were caution filled. I got aggressive the last couple laps and not surprisingly got sideswiped by a car spinning/pinballing off the wall and ended up 4 or 5 laps down but still held my position.

People just couldn't figure out how to stay out of the wall at Rockingham, and I just wanted to finish the race, so that's what I did.

Safe isn't a bad deal there but I can't just ride in the rear unless I am that slow. Turn 2 people forget that you got to wait a little bit to make the exit and even more when someone is outside of you.

I was bored so I decided to practice the gen 6 at Michigan but only the Class A was racing it so I went into one of those practices. I was trying to get the fastest lap but the car is a handful at times, so I'm pleased with the 9th fastest lap in the session.

I'm about to do the iRacing National race that starts in a couple of minutes. I just need a clean finish to get some SR and get some MPR completed.

I got 5th. I'm lucky 1st came around and lapped 6th at the finish so we did not have to battle for an extra lap.http://members.iracing.com/membersite/member/EventResult.do?&subsessionid=7825403&custid=115007

Yeah I could have driven it faster, but I just tucked in behind someone the majority of the time and waited for them to make a mistake. There was too much bad driving all around me for me to feel comfortable really fighting with anyone. I was running ~33.5 hotlaps in practice on my own but every time I wanted to push someone made me uncomfortable. I have a feeling next week is going to end up being quite similar due to the unusually sharp turns at Martinsville.

I do that quite a bit in oval racing, explains why I have only 2.x incidents average per race but only a 15xx iRating. I'm too conservative.

I can't seem to get passed about a 1700 iRating and I rarely qualify because I enjoy actually learning to drive around folks and different lines. IF I am not so great at a track I like finding where things need to run.

This was first week I have ever ran in the HPD at Road America. Have to say it was so much fun, great car and a great track. Managed to break the 1.51. barrier (50.9) in race last night in free air. Aliens are in the 49s and that's just  Been thinking a lot about getting triple screens but man I get confused when it comes to what cables I need!:dunce:

Do it right and just buy monitors with display port connections. That way you don't have to use any active adapters or anything.

If you get a video card with 3 display port connections you don't even have to worry about adapters at all. That's how my setup is and it's nice not having to worry about an adapter failing or causing other problems.

I have a 7850 2GB card. It has HDMI, 2 Mini display ports and 2 DVI connectivity. I did read somewhere that in order for the 3rd display to work it needs to be connected via mini display port.

Do I, for example get 2 active mini display - DVI adaptors then connect these via DVI cables to 2 monitors then have another monitor connected via HDMI?

Yeah, that would work, but if you don't already have the monitors, I would really suggest buying ones that have display port connections. The active adapters can (and will) fail from time to time.

You get pick up three monitors and get a couple cables from MonoPrice that go from miniDP to standard DP and then connect the third monitor via DVI or HDMI.

I heard that it was really hard for a single card (even top of the line model) to be able to run high settings on iRacing while in Triple Screen mode.
