Week13 only counts towards your iR and SR if you do the official series that run that week like Mazda Cup and Street Stocks. But all of the "Fun" series are just that, fun, no SR or iR.

Last season we did a similar fun series and it was fun. I think we did 5 different GT cars, but it might have been 4, can't remember.

Week 13 coming up. Sounds like a crash fest in some of the fun series, gen6 cars running with the street stocks and a road series featuring 5 different road cars! Madness.

Think it will fun in the road series the oval will be a wreck fest!

While im online quick question ive had iracing for a month now... and the promtoions are next week if i rember rightly. Im a Dclass licence but ive completed my mpr SR is 3.44 so will i get promoted next week? becuase im wanting to run in the grand am/ gt races... and i need to buy the tracks and that.

Yes, you'll be promoted sometime next week, can't remember the exact day though. I would stay away from any official Week13 races and just participate in the fun series.

Thanks for the response. I cant wait for the road what cars was it in the 5in1 mclaren caddy ford corvette and something else...

Im about to jump in one of the last GT challenge races before the madness begins. The corvette at daytona just feels like home to me.

i cant wait for next season i brought the McLaren for the world cup ( came 12th) for england :D and im only D licence. But thats not the point... I want to race in the Mclaren if i run the gt. But if im running Grand-Am i wanna drive the DP

Last season the road series was a total wreckfest at the start of each race. But still tons of fun!

I had a ton of fun last Week 13 on the Ford GT, starting from the back and going trough a sea of Cadillacs, V8Supercars, McLarens and some Vettes!

Are the v8s racing in the mixed road class? :D

Just checked and it's the same line up as the last time arround, should be a ton of fun!

Just finished a Grand Am race with the whole front bodywork of my DP missing. 6th and almost on the lead lap, car wasn't too bad considering.

Not something I'd like to repeat :p

So what are everyones plans for season 2?

I'm going to run a full season in the B and C class nascars and a full season in the skippy since Ill finally be promoted out of rookie. And then if i have time Ill keep running the NiS and late models.

Full season of B class NASCAR and C class trucks. Might dabble in the Late Model or Nationals in D. Of course continuing the iRacing NASCAR series as well.

Road wise, not sure yet, need to run through the schedules before deciding, may just focus on oval racing though.

V8 Supercar Series for me. And the Grand Prix Series to support my team mate Paolo Accurso, hopefully he'll get the Pro License this season.I'll also be trying to get a good finish in the Grand Prix this season after having computer issues and only being able to run 5 weeks last season, and one of those weeks was a mess as I had a netcode incident and scored only 30 points over the whole weekend. :(

Week 13 street stocks should be fun, been missing these cars since reaching Class C means having to race them in Class C as you become ineligible for the rookie series. So looking forward to racing these, and the first race is Thompson Speedway, scene of my only ever oval win back in 2011, oddly also in week 13.

You guys ready?

Are the v8s any good to run and popular as I'm stuck between that and grand am

They really aren't that bad once you get the hang of how the car feels. No matter how much people tell you about the oversteer, nothing can prepare you for how much you really get. You just need to have a good solid race setup that works for the whole race and you should be fine, although if you touch the throttle too early you will regret it as the tyres overheat and wear massively.

The participation is ok for the Aussies, and Europeans can get a race or two early morning. It does seem that more Europeans are giving it a go so participation is getting a bit better, it's just slow progress at the moment. We really need the Holden As well as the New Ford to help boost the participation more.

I will be on iRacing when Week 13 starts to spectate sessions. Week 13 lowest split usually has 10+ people spectating on some nights. Ready for promotion and ready for the KIA (I won't be getting it yet.)

That's a really good ideal! Ill watch some low split races this week. They're usually pretty good xD
