Finally broke the 3000 IR mark :)
Congratulations!

Mine is 1345 (oval) after three races, but I am probably really no better than about 1100. I'm sure my IR will settle to where it belongs after a few more.

Just out of curiosity, is there an upper limit to IR?

Not that I can think of. I've seen people with 8000. No 9000s yes.

Oh.. did I do that?

Lol!! Awesome post Mac! I just wish they would've had the attachments to ignore the anti-"fantasy car" idiots and go all out and make the "Cup Car" a true race car GT3 Cup clone...

I wish they would also, they sound and look so good.

Oh sound wil definitely be there! They've already recorded the sample from an actual GT3 Cup car.

Did I miss some big news or something? Porsche GT3 Cup car incoming?

Well a RUF, but it's close enough.

Why the RUF posts? Has it been confirmed for this next season or something?

The RUF is scheduled for the next build, but the AWD isn't ready, so we could see a delay, BUT, they've said they may release the RWD's for now and release an update for the AWD.

I know, I just thought they had confirmed that they'd release it without the AWD for now. As far as I know it's not yet set in stone that they'll do that.

Anyone think they'll be racing the Mustang next season?

I will, I don't race the full season but I race from time to time in it.

Just got into that bad boy. Had it for like ever (First car I bought) but never really liked it.

Now I love it! Cnd and I are going to be racing a lot of it this coming season, and this week at Montreal.

I'm way off the pace at Sebring... I might give Montreal a try.. I just need the track :p

Hey all, I've been away from iRacing for a little while but hoping to get my rig hooked back up soon....Can someone tell me what week and season we are up to ? Cheers

Season 3 week 11

About 12 days away from having this beautiful sound in iRacing... Can't wait!!!

If we get it.. and it'll sound nothing like that probably :p

Bathurst has been confirmed for Week 13 via Twitter.

I'm sure the Ruf will have great exterior sounds, just like most of the newer cars do. But when it comes to interior cockpit sounds, it'll sound way too muffled, just like every other car.

I could care less about exterior sounds, interior is what matters in my opinion..

What do you guys think about the DQ if reach number of incidents?

http://members.iracing.com/jforum/posts/list/3216837.page

I'd like to see it only for car contacts and not just incidents in general. I've not raced Spa on iracing, but understand that there are a few areas where you get off-track when it shouldn't be.

I think they're saying it will debut on some series next season.

I think it is a feature that had been needed from day 1

It's primarily for rookies I think, so it is extra incentive to be careful

Tony mentioned that it was probably going to be implemented in all series service-wide. Still a good move.

Is it going to be gradually implemented or all at once? For drivers who have bad races(like myself  ) I'm curious as to what the Sr. implications are

Off tracks shouldn't count in my opinion, dropping a wheel off isn't dirty or dangerous. Spinning, any form of car contact, smacking off of a wall, or cutting a corner should count. It's a good idea.
