It will probably be the best car which always seems to happen with new additions in GT3.
Most likely, it has been pretty successful in 2026 considering it is brand new and the first GT3 to be developed entirely in-house by Lamborghini, several wins (with some taken away in DTM as well) and generally good reliability. So it isn't
too far fetched for it to be the meta initially whilst they, first and foremost, try to sell it, but also get the BoP right.
Had a successful weekend/new week despite racing with the flu. The Porsche Cup at Bathurst beat me up, I love the track but I struggled to get a good flow and was quite a long way off the pace, even for me. I will caveat that I switched to a load cell brake setup going into the weekend so I did have to make significant adjustment to my driving style as well whilst I got used to that.
That in turn has helped me find some extra pace and confidence, particularly in cars that lack ABS, but also in cars that have it as it becomes much easier to modulate and not trigger ABS. So Road America in the Porsche Cup so far this week has been immensely enjoyable as I have had really good pace and confidence there, couple of podiums across fixed and open series. A top 5 and top 10 in the TCR at Mugello across open and fixed, top 5 in Ferrari Challenge at Lime Rock last night, challenging in the dark and such a short bumpy, narrow track for those monster 296 Challenge cars.
Last night jumped into the Ringmeister series which is using the Street Stocks this week and I have to say, that is such a fun combination, done a few races with a mix of results, podium, 17th and others, but the racing has been clean and respectful and that has boosted me to fast-track promotion into a Class B license which I am delighted about as I should now be able to get a full 8 rounds of a GT3 series in, will likely do the European regional one.
