Minimum participation rating must be achieved meaning you have to race a certain number of B class races before they promote you. That means, run a few GT3 or Proto GT races

About to do my first ever Gt3 race, using the Z4 as I'm most comfortable in it. Done enough testing and now I've got okayish speed to compete with at least mid pack and can run enough laps without crashing.

Just need to learn to break a but earlier for the carousel.

I've had some good luck in the gt3 series as well. I ran the 00:00gmt race last night and came 4th after stopping for 5 sec cause my ping exploded. Probably could've won second split. And this morning I came in 8th in top split.

In every practice session ive been to ive gotten into the top 8 so hopefully ill have a good few races this week. I've managed to dial in my setup and get 16.5s without draft and the car handles like a dream, just gotta worry about kerb hopping coming out of T1.

Yeah, just take a look at your MPR settings in the GUI when it comes back up. You probably just have to run in 4 Class B races or 4 Class B Time Trials (the easiest to accomplish). With the time trials, you have to complete N laps without incident to get credit, fyi.

My best at Watkins Glen is a 1:18, so that ought to make you guys feel good, lol. Taking my time with this car. Just trying to learn how to drive it safely out there, not really trying to be fast yet.

I know I get promoted when my MPR gets to the required level...LOL...just thought that the calendar promotions was something different or a bonus thing?! Thanks for the explanation

I have to think it's the people. The track isn't helping things either... Problems come up more often when draft plays a big role.

It's the track and the people. When you're racing in a line pretty much bumper to bumper, things happen.

It looks like rookie street stocks People aren't even attempting to slow down and just keep it floored through multiple car wrecks.. Not complaining, just trying to figure out why it's happening..

It's pretty much the same as last season. A lot of careless driving. The track is really not helping either as a driver 1.5 seconds a lap slower can still keep up because of draft.

If it's like last season, the standard of driving will be superb in the last 3 or 4 weeks. Everyone will finally start to "get it"

I just hope that iRacing will get out of revenue enhancement after S2 and fix the BOP to the way it should be. It's pretty clear iRacing is making sure people will want to purchase the Z4. Which I have no problem with, as long as it's fixed for S3.
