What's up with the GT3 series? Is it just the sheer number of people or is it something else? The driving standard is terrible..
Real 🤬 nice! I have a great tuned up Z4, first race of the season, full field, starting 7th, everyone makes it through T1 with no incident, then in the T2 esses guy's in front try and make it 3 WIDE and guess what?! BIG crash and I have NO where to go! Almost a 17 minute repair...my race is over...DNF...WITHDRAW. :banghead::gtpflag:

Welcome to GT3, i expect to be demoted back to B class after the first gt3 race i do since im only at a 2.12 A class after a terrible week 12.

No idea how , but I finished 11th in the top split GT3 with zero incidents last night. (There were some close calls though)

Dumb luck I guess. A nightmare race is waiting for me in the near future haha

So, how important is the setup for a DP? I did a quick practice on mid-DF baseline and it seems like I'm a couple of seconds off pace relative to the quick guys. Still trying to figure out what I'm running this season in addition to the SRF.

In what track and series?

I guess he's talking about the DP too, on Road Atlanta. My best after a practice session yesterday way a mid-16 on the medium downforce baseline. I've also tried some setup posted on the forum and it understeered like crazy even when tires warmed up. I guess I'll adjust the gearing a bit on the baseline, dump some fuel and see if I can do a mid-15 qualifying lap. If not, I'm gonna try it again later on some different track. R.Atlanta feels like some mad curb-hopping exercise in this car.

2 hours is a long time to wait to get back on track for the next race! Lost a lot of SR/iRating, but recovered almost all of it back, with a top 5 finish next race. Used the in-between time to fine tune my Z4 setup (qualify trim = quick. race trim = fast), The RUF & McLaren are 1 second slower.
Still a little heated over the guy that came up from the back of the field and caused the pile up...

Setup is everything on the DP. I have maybe 3 tracks where my setup is competitive. The Glen, Mosport and Daytona. I bet those setups won't be any good now that the tire model is different

Same here cnd. I used to always be competitive in top split wscc but with the NTM, I'm like 4 seconds off the pace. :(

Just won my 2nd GT3 race in a row :)

Guy was glued behind me in 2nd for the whole race because of the draft and I wasn't quite fast enough to break out of it. I made a mistake on the last lap and we go side by side round the carousel. Just managed to edge ahead and win by a car length :)

My first GT3 race went okay was running in the top 5 until I FORGOT TO PUT ENOUGH FUEL IN:mad::mad::mad::mad:, gahh i was furious when i had to pit with only 4 laps to go.

Ive noticed to that everytime people try to go side by side in the esses it just ends in wrecks, saw it about 3 times in the one race i did.

Qualifying was a chore for GT3. Teammate and I just wanted to execute our drafting plan and everyone tried to draft off of us. It's pretty freaking annoying.

Oh God! The ammount of idiots on track is horrible!! Morons coming out of the pits will ruin people's hot lap with complete and total disregard and lack of respect! It can be a fun track to race in, but I can't wait for it to be over!!
Don't wanna' see what Limerock will be like...

this'll probably be a duh moment for me but what's BoP? I've seen it mentioned a couple of times now.
Aren't there always idiot complaints in the first few weeks of each new season and w13 because they don't practice and then get frustrated and give up until next season because they suck?

I think it's because they don't want me to race the 9:15 truck race.

On a positive, I got my oval IR up to 2,320 today :)

2nd night in a row down at 9:15 EDT
I know I'm somewhat new here, but couldn't they have minimized the service during the week 13 season break?! I added parts to my PC while waiting for the new build to be input. Now, this week, I don't get actual seat time til 10pm MST, and up late for qualify/race/TT in the wee hours of the morning because of the shutdowns, when there aint too many races to be had.

That's the question everyone is asking.
