That doesnt explain why after unplugging and plugging it back in it fixes itself only to act up again. I've always kept it nice and lubed up and the magnet screw is tight.
No it doesn't. With that extra info I agree it is unlikely to be hardware. The confusing bit is where you said that you can get from 90-100% by pushing harder.

It's a issue with the sensor. Fanatec even acknowledges that it's a Sensor issue when you are to the floor with the pedal but, it is not 100% throttle and modulates a bit.

Usually unplugging my pedals and replugging fixes the issue. Then in the races with pit stops, I reset the pedals during the pit stop and have no problems.

It's a issue with the sensor.
It is, mine were doing it, I got spare sensors from Fanatec (after asking to buy them for like a month) and it fixed the issue. Short-calibrating them in the sim also worked, but got annoying at some point.

Fanatec still hasnt responded to me yet but i found i can short calibrate it with DxTweaker on games other than iRacing. However its gotten more frequent so i'll switch the sensors back tomorrow and see if that helps. If the clutch still acts super smooth and the throttle is bad then its the Board causing the issue, if the clutch exhibits the same behavior from the throttle and the throttle is smooth then then sensor is crap. Recently did a club race on GSC with 31 other people and battled for 1st for the whole 25mins, was a nice fresh breath of air away from iRacing since you dont get those types of battles very often.

Have iRacing said anything about this cold tire bug that everyone is complaining about?

I only noticed it with the NW 2.4 of spa which we ran in cold weather with light fog, things were slick for about a lap or two, I'm not convinced it's a bug.

You gain/lose SR in every series still although in lower classes i think the loss is bigger. Like a 5x in a D Class race means more SR is taken off than if it were in a A class race and im an A License. This might be wrong but thats how ive noticed it.

This is wrong. Sr is calculated at the same level for all official races, regardless of class. It's based on CPI (corners per incident). The longer the race, the more corners you've run, so the more incidents you can get without damaging your SR.

It is true that A class drivers are held to a higher standard though, so an A class driver needs a higher CPI to maintain a 4.99 than a D Class driver.

I'm probably a bit late to the party, but what are everyone's thoughts on Donington Park? Particularly the GP configuration.

It's a lot of fun. Very very open scenery, but the track is awesome. BTCC configuration is way better imo

I like it, it kind of reminds me of the other British tracks, I'm not sure why but they all have a similar feel to me, that's not a bad thing to me. There's some pretty cool fast turns and the last turn is a blind braking zone into a downhill unbaked 180 that's pretty tricky at first.
It's a ton of fun to run in the L49, and pretty fun in the Mustang.

Haven't raced the GP layout, but the National layout was fun in the SRF. The track's got decent flow and I think GP is even better for that. It's a 1X minefield though.

Our legend road season just ended with a fun race 35 minutes on the Figure 8 with the fixed road setup. That was so much fun, I think the field was 8 cars and the lead changed quite often with some good wheel to wheel action and in the end .... I WON!!!!!!! the series creator has now pitched an idea of Wednesday night figure 8 season with rotating cars instead of tracks. Honestly that's my first win in the series and the fourth or fifth win on iracing total, I don't race or win often, heck, I only have 1 official session win. That was a Loooooonnnng race, it was 82 laps.

So, almost forgot to mention that that was my first race on my new Granstand cockpit that I just bought (I can't believe I won :D). I love that thing now. I had been looking at buying it for a couple of years now and finally got it. It totally beats sitting on my coffee table and racing with my wheel attached to a $20 computer desk. I had a couple small hiccups putting it together, but now that it's all set up I'm glad I bought it.

It definitely feels sooo much better when you're sitting in a proper rig/cockpit :)
When I first started iRacing I just had my G27 clamped to a computer desk, I was in a close battle in a rookie MX5 race at Okayama, I was turning into a corner and my wheel slipped of the desk, I went in the opposite direction to the corner and wrecked my car hard into a wall :banghead: :ouch: ...I spat the dummy and went and bought a cockpit the next day

Yeah, I've had my fair share of close calls. About 2 weeks ago in the legend at oulton park my wheel came off just past the hill after the double apex right turn and I manged to keep it on track, put my wheel back on the desk and only lost a second, it happened pretty fast and scared the **** out of me.

I'm glad I had that rig last night. 35 mins of figure 8 racing was hard work, I can't imagine what i would've felt like if i was still sitting on my coffee table with no back rest

Why is it a "bug"? Just wait a lap to go faster

Release Notes for August 27 [2014.08.25.01] - Fixed a mathematical instability bug where the tyres could begin to jitter and shake and feel slippery, particularly after driving around at low speeds and/or on a cold track for a while.

That's different and a bug. People were reporting DW12 becoming undrivable after a pit w/o changing tires/fuel. Slippery on the first lap is still gonna be there.

That was on caution laps that people were having trouble keeping the car straight, I saw it in the forum

I did a hosted legends race with some friends right after the update and had the same problem. On the 2nd caution lap my wheel would start shaking like crazy then the car just spun out like I had a RR tire go down.

That's exactly what the people in the forum were saying.
Our figure 8 race didn't have cautions on

Then there must have been a similar bug elsewhere

Anyone else not able to download the newest update? I get stuck at 99% downloaded.

So I seen this tweeted:

Having not been on iRacing all summer. Kids and family life prevent me from dedicating the time. I'll be back full time racing in the next month anyway. What's this all about. Are there new cars coming? New cars there? Do we have the ring? Is it coming?

Thanks for bringing up to speed. I did a short search here and didn't see anything but very easily could of missed it.
