V8 Series is where it's at for me as you've seen as you say. So yeah that is my main focus. With the competition we have and some DWC drivers such as Petteri Kotovaara and Luke McLean looking at returning to the series my work is gonna be cut out for me. Plus Shane Van Gisbergen (real life driver) is currently doing the testing on the New Tyre Model for the V8. He says that sliding and wheelspin is no longer fast and the car has made massive leaps forward in the realism department. So hopefully next season is even bigger. 👍

Very interesting about the tire model. the V8 really is damaged in that aspect so should be very nice to drive in august.

yea 120hz is a game changer imo, i have three myself and also bought my computer specifically for BF3.

Man i´m really excited to see how this will go, who will be the quickest etc
If i had to guess i would say i´m in the Top10 (i hope).

Remember, the 3 people who finished last after the season will be up for grabs
It should help in people being more conscious in terms of collecting valuable points instead of charging through and maybe slip up and hit a barrier etc.

That's what I did and purchased an F1 car. I'm pretty sure I'd just get left at the starting line with the F1 though. Think I'm going to go practice some more (do a qualifying race or something tonight in the mazda). Just gonna try to stay back and pray no one wrecks me

I just ran my first race....accidentally jump started, got black flagged and then disqualified Need to change my monitor settings so I can actually SEE those warnings on the side of my screen would be VERY beneficial

Lol!! I was just on Okayama on the Nvidia Cup too! Got crashed into by some moron who was lapped... A totally clean race, no mistakes staying out of trouble to get some SR back after dropping a full point in 2 days thank's to morons like that...

That's a pretty good time for that track, My personal best is a 1:03.014 and the faster guys are dipping into the 02.xxx, the world record is a 1.01:337.
We got separated for that race, I ended up wining after taking the lead in lap 2, fell asleep like a dummy going into one at about midrace! Getting my SR back now! Slowly getting there!

I really dont like this Okayama short track, much preferred Lime Rock. Quickest time in 1:02.7 but I have only done it once..averaging around 1:03.2. Just cant find a good rythm, thrown away 2 race leads, 1 from pole, because of it.

Totally unrelated question - was trying to get my DFGT to register more than 200 degrees, but can't get it to work Now the damn thing is telling me that my mouse isn't needed bc the steering wheel is a mouse. It may be that it is 4 am but god I want to throw this thing out a window.

Then go into My Documents/iRacing/replay and take the replay file.

When it´s loaded and done post the link here so i can download it.

Considering holding a hosted practice session at Silverstone this weekend in the FW 31 around 16 GMT. If I can get 10 people interested I will put it up. I'm thinking an hour and a half like real F1 practice

Most likely going to happen Sunday, I want to sit and watch the Le Mans 24 lol. I can sit on my Mac and work on that livery of ours though
