But I have to buy stuff for the GT Cup.
Think I might go for that 100 for 75 deal though.
Is the GT Cup any cleaner than the iRN Challenge? Because I have yet to gain positive SR in an iRN race.![]()
It definitely is a lot cleaner! You could always wait till that series go to Okayama and not buy any content...
Wait so if you ran a lot of series and completed all you would get $10 for each?
So if you could effectively cut your costs a whole lot?
I'll grab a couple of the tracks that are on the schedule before that.
Some stuff on my to buy list:
Sebring
Spa
Daytona Road
Road Atlanta
Silverstone
Mid-Ohio
All the cars are iffy, I wanna do some research first but here's what I have in mind...
Skippy
TDI Cup Car
Ford GT or Vette (Leaning towards the Ford)
Ford V8 Supercar
And MAYBE the Lotus and DP or HPD
And I'll deffinitely be pre ordering the McLaren and RUF when they become available.![]()
JavHPD and DP are must buy cars! Those 2 are 2 of the best cars in the service! On the tracks, well they all are great! I'd replace Road Atlanta with Watkinsglenn wich definitely is the most used and everyone's favorite. Also, if you didn't like the Caddy you won't like the V8.
Coxisgogatrs, it ends tomorrow so hurry.

Alright, thanks Jav!
And how difficult is the Skippy to drive? It looks like it sounds like it's pretty hard to learn but once you get the hang of it, great fun.
👍
I'll be getting it I think.
Didn't think I'd be spending $125 on sim racing in the course of two weeks.
And I just had the best practice session yet.
Finally hooked up with one of my OLD OLD karting buddies that I haven't seen for two years or so. Him, his brother, and I all went nose tail for about fifteen laps until we started putting each other in the wall.
He got down to a 59 flat (!?!?!) on Lime Rock with the MX5 Cup. We were gonna try and go for a track record with the draft but he had to go.
I improved my time as well. Got down to a 1:00 flat after following and watching him for a few laps.
And I take that back about the McLaren![]()
Eric.Which car are you using at Lime Rock? I've been using the Cup for everything now, and I discovered that you shouldn't ever use third gear at LRP. 4th and 5th only. Third gear goes to about 74mph and you don't drop much below 70 in the slowest turn (T3/Left Turn).

iRacing just signed Bathurst, fantastic!!!

superbike81In other news: iRacing is scanning Bathurst and Rockingham (the American oval) finally. Aussies rejoice!
Alright, thanks Jav!

Bah, thought I'd be able to get the 100cfor 75 deal today, but I guess it already ended.
I'll still get the F2000 sometime soon though.
N/m just got the credits.![]()
KamuifanboyWhen did they get an F2000 in iRacing?
I believe that's what the Skip Barber is
KamuifanboyRT2000 if I remember correctly.
