Ok
Thanks alot for the help guys :)

There's also the Star Mazda, it's a very good car, easy to drive compared to other class C cars. Right now I'm starting out in the Riley DP, it's probably funnest I have driven on iracing. It's a little tail happy, but it's controllable.

Oh damn! You broke it!!! It was working for me just a second ago!!!! :grumpy:

It went for manteinance. Then it worked again, it gave me around 30 minutes, and then went down again :(. It's a shame, I was just finishing a TT around Okayama and had improved my best lap by a tenth when I found it was down again...

I'm going to buy it right now then!

Only problem with the Riley is participation. Many of the regularly scheduled races during the week don't go official and if they do it's like 8 Riley DP's and 1 or 2 Mustangs. Still fun racing but you have to plan your races carefully. The Sunday/Monday races are normally the bog ones.

Yea... Pity on how participation is high in basically 3 cars (Skippy, Mustang and Star Mazda

Well i went and bought the skippy, mustang and v8.
All great fun, the skippy is the hardest :nervous:
So easy to loose the back end on slow corners.
Also bought spa and watkins glen.

Apparently not high enough, we had 23 mustangs in 2 races and 18 in another last week at road atlanta and NONE of them went official! But next season I think there will generally be more competition in a lot more series with the changes

It was for the last hour. I actually just registered for a race. And i think the site crashed again. What happens now?

Do iRacing have staff in different timezones? It would suck if they are all sleeping right now.

Well the answer is officially yes. Well and thoroughly crashed.

I guess i will just watch F1 FP3

I'm hoping they give us extra time or something. I wanted to do the final race this week to get some more points. Always have to wait for participation to be up, which is about this time.

This is why iRacing is down.

They are to busy melting Nacho cheese.

There stupid servers crashed after I registered for the race so i couldnt join the race! Then i got screwed over and lsot 100 iRating. WTAF :grumpy:

Who can I camplain to? I want this fixed...

I'm sure they'll get right on it since you asked so nicely and all.

lol. I sounded alot more nice in my iRacig Support request.

I got here first furious because I hasd jsut had agreat result in another race at 7am though I would be at 1700s by now. To discover I went backwards to 1500s.

Today I registered for a Mazda cup race at Okayama at 5am and before I could join it appears that the American servers had trouble. The site stopped working for me. It wasnt my internet because I could browse other websites. When I got back i discovered I had lost almost 100 iRating for a race I did not even have the opportunity to join because of server issues. Can anything be done by the iRacing staff to restore the points?

I have attached the event result.

If you register for a race but "forfeit" before the countdown finishes do you still lose iRating?
I left to watch F1 qualy.
I just lost another 103 iRating. My head just hurts.

I think you have to unregister before it gets to the forfeit time.

If you "forfeit" you are still entered in the race, so yes, you will lose iRating.

If you want to leave before the race, make sure you only ever "withdraw" which means you must do so before 1:30 before the race server opens.

Clearly I am not skilled enough to even click the "Join" button so therefore I must lose 100 iRating as punishment :p.
Then shouldnt I get 100 iRating just for joing the race :sly: or spelling joining right :sly:

Oh well. I dont think iRacing team is having any of my pleas.

Don't concern yourself so much with iRating, it will come and go and eventually level itself out at where it should be. On any given week you could be up or down ~300 iRating or more depending how much you race.

When are the license promotions? I currently have a 3.54 D license, but i dont have enough races in D license series because i dont have the money for the courses. Although if things work out with my finances i might have some spending money soon.
