What are your settings for the dfgt ?
App.ini and ingame ?

I used someone's setting from this forum http://members.iracing.com/jforum/posts/list/2021333.page here it is:

Logitech Settings:
Overall: 100%
Dampening: 100%
Centering: 0% (Disabled)
Degrees of Rotation: 900

iRacing APP.INI Settings:
steeringBumpStop_Deg=15.000000 ; degrees into bump stop before max force
steeringFFBBaseOffset=0.070000 ; Boost FFB forces by a set amount to increase sensitivity around zero (0.0 to 0.5)
steeringFFBLinearForce=1 ; Use a linear force profile instead of compressing the FFB forces to fit
steeringFFBSmooth=1.000000 ; Percent of current FFB force to use vs average force, 1.0 = no average 0.001 = max average

iRacing FFB Settings:
Strength: 7-12 depending upon car (Used to run like 3-5 before this build/settings)
Dampening: 0

but ingame strength of 12 is too low, I've been doing laps with 25+ and still it is softer than before, I recommend you keep trying different ones to see what suits you

Hummmm, so that would make it 5am Sunday for me. I don't mind waking up that early to race, so I'll join up!

Will this league be utilizing weight ballast?

Yes, the Ford will be using anywhere between 425 to 550 pounds of ballast depending on the track.

I did only drive mazda's on road courses. I wanted to try oval today using a 900 legend car from the '30's. Whenever i am standing still or in the pitlane my wheel is shaking non stop. I can't hold the steering wheel. Is this normal becaus it does not feel normal.

Yes, it's an exaggeration of the car shaking, once you start rolling it'll stop

To come back to this subject.
To all T500RS users.

Don't keep playing when you have this "exaggeration" at those races/car.
My wheel "literally" fell apart. My wheel felt very loose in the centre. So i dismantle my steer from the T500 base and i had to fasten 4 screws. I had to fasten them back in. they were almost halfway out.
When i tried to assembly the steering wheel back on i noticed there was one screw missing. Behind the wheel there are 3 little screws. The ones that were still there were damaged or loose for 1/2. becaus i couldn't screw them back, they kept spinning. So i replaced the damaged & missing screws whit the screws i had left from my foot pedals. They are not 100% the same but they fit well. Also some screws around the GT Logo were loose.

This is maybe a extreme case but recommend To check all screw from time to time. Specially when you like a lot of FFB. Fasten them if you can. Specially the 4 screws in the centre of the base there for u need to take off the steering wheel.

Blaze_409
this might overcook your wheel!:nervous:
DFGT can't run that high FFB without the major clipping.

Not to mention clipping, your wheel isn't providing correct FFB just a heaviness.... I thought you had a G27, Oldskoolacura?

I just did those settings and I like it, but in game ffb I kept max. I like a heavy wheel, all in all feels much better

Is it possible to cut a corner, receive a penalty, choose not serve it and still go on in the race? I was battling for 2nd when we both cut a corner a bit to much, I slowed down, lost my spot and assumed the guy I was battling with would do the same, instead he just kept going.. almost as to ignore the penalty.

The same guy updated his setting on page 7 I think in the same forum, it is kinda better, still will decide after I drive more

You'll get a nice DQ if you don't answer the black flag!
Anyone want to join me for the 24 heure du fun 2 9:15 pm legends race?

Damn! Too late for me!

Is it possible for someone to get black flagged for blocking? I was all over this guys bumper once and i saw him lift and pull off to the side. I asked him why he did that, he said i got black flagged, but didnt say why.

Not really, most likely he just dropped a wheel and registered as a cut.
Promotions here I come!!
Woohoo! Ready for some GT Awesomeness?
I was 2.94 today, down to 2.81.. Need to get it up!
Stop trying to win every race and just focus on having a clean run, even if it means lifting to let the morons go or just do a few TTs.
Have you talked to your doctor about Cialis?

LMAO!!!

Does my rating have to be at 3.00 before the end of the day? I was leading, about to win, no off tracks or anything and some moronic back marker decides to block me at the exit of the corkscrew.. I wanted (want..) to punch him in the nose..

It unfourtunately happens a lot on the rookie series wich is why you simply don't race anyone, you find a moron like that, you back off and play watch the moron wreck by himself!
You need to get your SR above 3.0 before Monday at 6PM US EST.

Who here has tried the Mustang since the update? It's horrid. And No setup works, everyone is using the baseline except me using Dan Rasch's S2 Road Atlanta setup. I joined a hosted practice and on my first lap I ran a 1:47 (the forum says a 1:40 is average but competitive, aliens are in the 1:38 at laguna seca. That brought me straight up to 5th from last (9th) and a 1:44 (with a bobble and a Lighning McQueen move thru the grass.... Er.... dirt) brought me up to 2nd lol I stopped when I hit a 1:43 but then 4 other guys showed up late with a 1:40. Everyone has to slow to almost a stop to make a decent corner now, I've made a few adjustments but it's still strange to drive. Suddenly the V8 Supercar doesn't look like such a bad idea but those guys are superfast and have to have absurd amounts of throttle control and speed conception.......

Its too bad that the Cadillac Cup is a Rookie series. Its could have been fun if it was D class or C class but that Cadillac is just not a rookie car in the slightest sense. Its probably some contractual obligation on Cadillacs behalf to allow everyone to drive it but with it being rookie it just sounds like a wreck fest.

I haven't touched the Mustang since it had the OTM last year!

It's gonna get moved away from rookie next year for S2, by then the HSV-010, Civic Touring Car, McLaren and Ruf will be out wich I'm pretty sure will be my favorite cars so I guess I'll rarely use the Caddy...

Racing in legends last night I over heard some Aussie's comparing V8's to legends. They said they drive similar as far as have to be smooth with throttle and steering input. It makes me really want to work on road side to get up to that class even though I really suck at road racing.
