Yeah, what really ticked me off was when he started to blame everyone else for it! To add insult to injury his car had no damage and continued on to get some easy iR, the iR I worked so hard to make up earlier today on the GTC! And even worse it was a race I had pretty good shot at as the 2 surviving Vettes where 2 slower than my race pace...

Just a classic A__clown!
 
LOL, what business does he have racing? No reason to slam into someone on a pace lap, the guy in front of him hit his brakes twice even.

Don't you just love how that works! He messes up, blames everyone else and yet he comes out ok.

I have made stupid mistakes like that while messing with my phone BUT usually I wreck myself not others.
 
I see it all the time in real racing where people don't pay attention and don't see everything and they have that Alpha dog personality and it becomes anyones fault but their own. It's just sad that people are like that

shameful! If a guy can't pay attention during a rolling start it is time to slap the 'dangerpaint' on his member ID!
 
this is why you shouldnt get to A class in a month (i personally did it) but i feel it should take a SEASON to upgrade, you should not be able to fast track. it will force you to take your time and should stop a lot of these problems. but i know people would be angry with this and want to upgrade as fast as they can. i did one season in the hpd and it was some of the worst racing around. so glad to be doing oval racing, but i cant wait for JAV's league its gonna be awesome!
 
Is anyone doing the 500km of Phillip Island this weekend? I was going to but then I realized it starts with half an hour of our CESCS league race remaining.
 
Starting to dislike iRacing.. After about an hour or so of practice at Suzuka West I head out onto track in the Skippy, 5 minutes later i'm in the pits. Car was towed there. When the timer hits 0 I fly out to hear "Your car has too much damage, you will have to come in and pit"

Thought you could get a free fix?

I thought about it, bought the V8, tried it and it's such a beast. I don't feel like I'm ready for those types of cars yet. I do plan on running the V8 series once I get my licensing up though.

Yeah it's a beast alright !!
I reckon in terms of difficulty it's a class A car not a class C car. If you get a chance check out the top split V8's on Monday night....Impressive :eek: :bowdown:

You should get one reset. There were some bugs involving the pit for that layout last season. I thought they were fixed though.
 
Went from SR D 2.73 to 2.2x in 3 races.. Just gotta think of the gains when I get a clean race.. If I ever do..
 
Skippy and Mazda...

Anyway, just has a cleanish race in the Skippys and gained .13 SR and came forth.

You only get the free fix in Rookie and D class races as far as I know.

Lol! Dude that was pure luck! All I saw was Bekir's Vette flipping trough the air and a bunch of HPDs spinning in front of me! I just went for the gap I thought was gonna be there and got lucky!

That used to happen every once in a while, I haven't had that problem lately though. You didn't happen to escape out while being towed did you? I've heard that cancels the fast repair, but I don't know if it is true.

This would explain why I always have to sit in the pits... Thanks for sharing.
 
ooo yea....2nd week in Star Mazda, 1 second away from Suzuka World Record.

What an awesome car. No regrets in not touching the Skip ever again.

Wish me luck guys, I really want to be no.1 but its still early, maybe I should push faster next season instead. I haven't even used iSpeed but I think I will need to if I want to beat the WR time.
