Erm, the KIA likes to understeer. Never thought it would be so bad, I love the way the Jetta handles but this has too much power.

350-400bhp through the front is excessive, lift off oversteer might be the order of the day.
 
If I'm correct isn't the Radeon HD 4870 1GB one of the lower end Graphics Cards in the range? And isn't the 7000-8000 range much better?
 
hey guys im so tired of racing around how do i say it nicely, ROOKIES and getting hit from a racer who has no business in a race yet. Im looking for some controlled racers so i can level up without these very frustrating events. I have been racing GT5 since it came out and have raced in gtplanet events many times.
 
Just logged on iracing and got the KIA. Won't get to try it out until a little while from now but hope its pretty fun. Ive had a bunch of fwd race and street cars in real life, but really waiting for the BTCC Civic though I'm a Honda guy. Another cool thing they added for this update is 30% off for full content owners over the previous 25%. Nice little bonus.
 
Tired and sick so I won't be on tonight. I will get the KIA next week when I have to renew my membership. Hope you guys enjoy the new build.
 
I bought the Kia too, I haven't driven it yet but I watched a hosted session, it's a lot faster than I thought it was going to be, sounds pretty cool too.
 
Just drove it on the updated Laguna Seca. Laguna looks fantastic now and the Kia is a superb drive. Got to balance the brakes and throttle to kill the lift off oversteer under braking, particularly down into 2nd and 1st, and careful on the throttle to kill the understeer. But it is incredibly satisfying to get right. Good car.

Did a 1:31.7xx on Laguna for reference.
 
Any body else have a problem with downloading the updates?

Would'nt go above 70kbps for me..

There are some official races here and there on the weekends. Expect most official races to be early morning due to Aus time zones. Also SOF races are on Monday morning.

Might not be the seires for me then :( deep down I want to race in the indy car series but it isn't popular here. Now I've narrowed it down to 2 I'm stuck gt challenge or grand am :/
 
Both generally have good attendence, buy the McLaren and you can do both.

I ran it in the McLaren and was more talking about how 40 cars go into turn 1. 15 come out.

Anybody noticing any problems opening up replays? When I click on the Replay it says, "Authorization Denied." This is with all of my replays as well.
 
I like the Kia so far, the tire model on it is weird though, I was running in a hosted session at Mosport, my fastest laps were set on cold tires (laps 1-3) then after that they got slower and slower.. I'm not the only one reporting this either.

The NTM has been like this ever since it was first released.

If you want a realistic viewing angle. Set like this.

driverHeightAdj=-0.035000 ; Range -0.050m to 0.050m (approx. +/- 2 in.)
 
I just notice it a lot more in the Kia, I ran 27 laps. How do I set the view like that?

25Hour FUN - is epic, had a killa race last night with around 35 plus drivers at Interlagos, quallied 4th finished 3rd - was great mixing it up with several differant cars - cant wait tonight for more action....

The updated Laguna Seca looks amazing. Does the C6R feel much more stable now to you guys? I was taking some laps and my confidence in it just went up immensely. Oh, by the way what FOV setting does everyone use?

Wait what? I changed it in the APP.ini. You have to scroll down almost all the way to the bottom to find the setting.
