I actually have a spare waiting to go in for the broken one, I'll be ordering a few more this week.
Thank you for asking though, really appreciate it!
I got like 8 of those on ebay some time ago. The listing was confusing, I thought I was ordering 2 =)

After the new build was out a bunch of problems showed up with the indycar setups. and Ruf car has problems and some other problems. :boggled: So hopefully they get fixed soon!

Well, I picked an excellent day to get this sim .

Does this happen frequently?

It happens but not very often. Every new season with the deployment of the quarterly build the service can get a little bit unstable, but that usually happens on the first or second day the build goes live, and never as bad as this. The last time something as bad as this went on was around late 2013.

Other than those two I don't think anything of this magnitude has happened in the past 2 years which is the time I've been on the service.

Yeah, I've been a member for 4 years now and I've only seen this once before. Early 2013 it was really cold and they were having problems with power plants or something of the sort in the area of their US servers. No idea what is causing this one, though I'm sure we'll know as soon as they get things going again.

Why am I the literally the only person with a membership to iracing who has not encountered site issues???!!!! :D

there's some people on the forum working on a road setup but there issue is the same I was having that it was still asymmetrical on track with FFB

One of the staff members said that when you take it to a road course it should automatically set a 50/50 weight distribution but it doesn't look like that's working yet.

In love with the Super Late Model at the moment, just had my first race in it at New Smyrna and it is a blast. Clean race to, started 12th, finished 4th with less than 2 seconds separating the top 7.

It's especially aggravating since today was supposed to be the 1st Ruf World Series race.
We got 110 minutes of practice and 20 qualifying.
Logged off to get to the race server, and whoop it's down :(

Update from Tony Gardner on what new content is being worked on and what stage each item is at.

Tony Gardner
Nothing too earth shattering in terms of "news" but just to confirm what the production people, graphic & art folks along with race engineers are working on in regard to new content:

As always, everything is subject to change for priorities or many other possible reasons.

Tracks:

COTA - next track we release
IRP/Lucal Oil - will be next track after COTA. Should be a blast with that new super late model!
Donington- is also in production. Working now on track surface textures and track shaders- Still long way to go.
Monza-We have the scan and production has started. Even longer way to go.
Will do another oval before or after Monza. Also looking at mixing in and redoing some existing tracks.

Cars:

BMW GT car-close to dropping it in alpha to begin hands-on physics work and testing
DW-12 Indy car - Ideally would like to have for Indy 500. We shall see, might be wishful thinking but that is a goal. Quite a bit of work because essentially it is like building 5 different cars from a physics perspective.

Many other awesome cars and tracks to build but thought I would update what actually is in production at this moment.
