I'll have to try it too. I still drove it last season because I kind of enjoy the looseness it had but I think the ntm will bring the participation back

This season, I'm getting back heavy into the DP. NTM will make the participation go up which the lack of it was the reason why I stopped in the first place.

The Z4 has been an absolute blast around watkins glen in the hosted sessions ive done, car just gets better and better as the stint goes on, however for week 1 of GT3 its going to be some crazy close racing since even the slower guys can keep up with the draft.

Yeah, I'm extremely scared to see what the attrition is like for the Thursday High SOF race. Since 1st - 30th in qualifying is usually split by less than 1 second in those races, it's going to feel like racing Daytona :scared:

What kind of times are you guys getting in the GT3 cars at COTA West? I've started breaking into consistent 1:28.5's with the BMW on 65L of starting fuel. I feel like it's quite quick but, I always seem to be a bit off.

Is it just me or has week 13 been cleaner than normal? Normally it divebomb, PIT manover central. I have only had 2 bad races all week.
I did avoid GT3 so maybe that's it.

I've done one race this week as it's all car/track combos I don't enjoy.

I did just one road race, where I was holding on for dear life to some 7k IR alien, and two oval races in both of which I've picked up 4x in wrecks I couldn't dodge. So, nothing too clean. I should probably work on my oval IR/SR though so that I end up with drivers who at least could hold low/high line consistently. Might do a few ovals tonight just for SR so that I can run C-class street stocks in S2.

Got a new G27, so I'm back in business! Did my first oval race in forever, and picked up my first top 5. Race was pure chaos, some of the drivers were laughably bad. Looking forward to doing some more racing this season.

The beemer

Take the baseline setup. Soften the front bar all the way, turn tc off, rear wing to setting 1, and stiffen the rear bar 2 clicks. That should get it to rotate much better. And, if you're really brave, soften the front spring rates all the way.

I'm running a setup like that, and am running consistent 1:28.5's on the West circuit.

Did the first GT3 race of the season, had an incident with a car coming out of the pits in the esses that ended my race. Was running 3rd at the time catching 2nd and 1st. So frustrated.

But I did gain 7 tenths w/o the draft simply by raising my tire pressures 1 psi so hopefully if I can actually finish one of these we'll be in good shape.

EDIT: Down for me too.

Did it boot you guys out of the race?

It was up for a second on my Mac, rebooted to the PC and it was down again. Was able to at least see that I got promoted to C class.

Edit: still down, what gives?

Edit the Edit: so, while I'm waiting, I am watching EPL games on my DVR. Right now, it's Liverpool vs. Chelsea. Go Liverpool!!!

Edit v3: IT'S UP!!!
