I did type the "n" word, it got replaced with asterisks. It isn't really a derogatory term any more, unless used in that sense. Why can a black person say it, and not me? That is more racist than the word itself.

history like lateno rapper uses the N word alot.. and it doesnt stir up as much conversay as say eminuem becasue hes white... there is an up and coming chinese rapper.. his name is jin.. he is going to use the N word in ONE of his song.. as well as other word trying to tell them if you cant say the N word then dont say chink... or any of the other words... if you get rid of one such as N word as a bad word the rest should be bad words...

Well, this has stirred up a hornet's nest, hasn't it!

Humour is rarely victimless. It's not viable to say that one particular group should be protected any more than any other. The reason why the "n" word is starred out, and some other racial slurs are not is due entirely to the way that the swear filter is set up, and also due to the fact that the use of the "n" word is almost always an insult, whereas many of the others (Chink, Cracker being two) are actually other words that have their own meanings that are not derogatory.

Since there is no official direction in this regard, it's up to the mods to decide on a case-by-case basis what is and isn't acceptable.

I'm making a judgement call in this instance and saying that (horrid JPEG compression artefacts aside), this is OK in my opinion.

Don't forget, there's the "Report to Moderators" button on each post, in which any registered member can report unacceptable content at any time. Also, any registered member can PM any of the moderators on an individual basis if they feel they are being harassed, racially or otherwise.

as i though.. first off i dont care if you dont like the way i type or i cant type "well" I think if im pushing keys then im typing and if people can read it im fine.
