This is a serious question based on everything we've known, read, heard, hoped for, and anticipated since the first news of anything relating to GT5.
First let me get out of the way what a Supernova and Phoenix are for those who don't know.
A supernova is a Sun/Star that is in the ends of its life, where it firstly slowly begins to seemingly get smaller when it is actually compressing and creates a strong gravitation pull, pulling everything within is grasp towards itself, then it explodes outward (one could only imagin the true effects), then gives birth or leaves behind the one of (if not the most) mysterious forces or seemingly unstoppable power the human race as ever discovered... A black hole, which sucks (presumably) anything and everything close enough to it, into something we may never know about.
A Phoenix is a fictional bird of fire that can bring back the dead, but when a Phoenix itself is at the end of its life, it never truely dies, but burns out into ashes and creates a new Phoenix in its place.
So how do I think GT5 relates to these?
1. GT5 is a Supernova? Why not? GT5 has been one of the most longest developed, anticipated, and HYPED games for the past 5 years, with MILLIONS of people awaiting its arrival, not to mention the GT franchise is a World Wide Event in itself, with competitions, representations, car developements, and other things all in the name if Gran Turismo (At least I think so
), not to mention all the haters hating on its long developement, which is similar to the events of a Sun compressing itself as it gets closer to its explosion.
1 part 2. How does it relate to the explosion? Easily. When its freaking released...
1 part 3. How does it relate to a black hole? That would be everything that happens relating to the effects after the game is released. It is unknown. We just assume it is for the moment... incomprehensible.
2. Is GT5 a Phoenix? Why not? The GT series is well known to put millions of people in awe of its greatness and influence, even during this long tiring wait for its new arrival.
2 part 2 (WTF? Its Half-Life 2 all over again). How does it relate to the death and rebirth of a Phoenix? Easily. The current form of everything we've come to know and love of the GT Series is the current Phoenix, while GT5 is the beginning of the newly born Gran Turismo.
So, there it is. What do you guys think? Agree? Why wouldn't you? I mean WHY else would the game be delayed from even its home country? I HIGHLY doubt its Polyphony Digitals idea, but rather Sony's idea. Why? Marketing purposes, stratigic release timing, and the building of HYPE HYPE HYPE, which is probably what they are going do all at once at this years E3.
So. Could it possibly be that Gran Turismo 5 is a great force preparing unleash its power?
Could it be that GT5 is a *gasp*... SUPERSTAR!
