Is Japan the Ultimate in ranking?

Anyone who thinks it is easy, or just a matter of putting in a lot of time to get a top TT result, is deluding themselves. I've been chasing Timppaq's tuned Clio TT at Suzuka for a few weeks now & must have put at least a couple of solid hours in. I'm still a second off his pace, & (at 10th) is a full two seconds off the (Japanese) leader.

I take pride in my time trials rankings, I have a few top tens and numerous top 20 positions, but I also take pride in being able to hit those times in a maximum of about ten laps of the circuit. I often wonder how many hours some people do to take the top times, or even whether there are other players like myself who don't have the time to spend hours to shave off a few tenths yet can lap quickly enough to trouble the tops of the leaderboards!

i'd say most of the JP are no.1 in rankings most of the time...but i notice that GB are normally quicker in the GB cars. just my perception.

i'd also like that say that any times that i hold in rankings is normally less then 5 laps..sometimes 10.

On more then half of the Eiger/Pro TT's are Europeans on the 1st place
The Japanese have many great drivers who are practising very much and do this the whole day. That's why most rankings are dominated by them. European and US drivers also have a true live.
