I have been debating whether i should buy the latest DLC. I know that it isn't that expensive but i don't know if it is really worth the money?

That's surely a matter of personal preference. The cars I think have proven particularly good value with the Aventador, Aston and Beetle. The track maybe not so much, but then I haven't been playing GT5 a great deal recently because of work and barely been on the new track.

As you said, they aren't that expensive, so for me I got them all and intend to check them out more thoroughly when time allows.

In my opinion it is. The cars are definitely worth it and I've enjoyed driving on SS route X and using the speed test features

You have a massive oval track, you probably know the car list.
Do you like the track? Do you like the cars? If yes buy it, if not well, don't. I couldn't care less of that silly oval and I don't like the way they are packaging these cars together. I'm waiting for proper circuits like Silverstone, Imola, Brands Hatch, or at least fictional tracks from previous GT's.

I wouldnt buy SSRX if I had to do it again. I've used it at start a bit to have fun but since then I never used it again. Can't really have any decent race on it also except maybe some sort of extreme nascar-like racing. Cars, well if you like them and thinks you gonna drive them, you should definitely get them. But if you're using the same car all over already it might go to waste.

Couldn't agree more about getting proper tracks as Gran Turismo 5 is 'The Real Driving Simulator' but how can they prove that when there are not any good real life tracks.

Because spa is a crap track ? Ok SSRX wasnt good but come on, dont be so narrowminded.

I think the cars in pack 3 are the most worth getting. But, for tracks, DLC 3 is not so good. If you are a GT5 photographer, SSRX is amazing, but that is about it.

Probably he means they are not enough.

@OP Well some people here bought SSRX for the hype -> "it's a new track!!! Let's buy it!!!" I'm sure some of them are still happy and enjoy slipstream battles online BUT if you know you don't like that kind of racing I wouldn't advice the purcase.

Its a brilliant track but is it really worth the money?

Well, when I got it, I spent several hours testing out over 200 cars, and for the price I purchased it for, in the sense of enjoyment per hour, yes. It was worth it.

But you have to ask yourself, will I enjoy drag racing, testing top speed, or taking photos on the SSRX.

SSRX is really good for pictures and the speed test can be useful and a dun little distraction. I loved the cars. I'm happy with what I paid.

Probably not in my case.:indiff:

I agree. Cars from DLC 1 is as good as crap. And its totally unrealistic, those race car doesn't exist in real life. So much for being a "real driving simulator".

Pounds in my case:sly:! Yes buts its hard to find that as i don't work and i am at school. Plus if they bring DLC out regularly then it can add up to quite a bit.

Regardless of the currency, DLC 3 is still cheaper than a cup or two coffee at Starbucks. And if you play the game regularly, why not just purchase it and enjoy it.

It would be worht it even if it was twice the price for me. Cars dont bother me much, I think we got enough, but there's never enough track on a racing game, except maybe formula 1 game.

Spa is just a brillant racetrack and it's a part of racing history like monaco or the Nurb.

The Aston Martin V12 Vantage is a most welcome vehicle in my garage, I have at least 10 :), the Aventador LP-700 is pretty impressive too. @ £4.79, I'd say for the enjoyment I've been given, Car Pack 3 has definitely been worth it.

Personally I think this DLC is the only one worth buying. I didn't buy the first two since I don't care about race cars or paints etc but this one has new cars that you could actually go to the store and buy yourself. I ended up saying screw it and bought them all anyway but definitely this latest one is all I use.

This is easily the best one, we get a brilliant new selection of cars and a long, pretty track to test them on.

I am still waiting for a DLC that I feel is worth buying, all these cars and tracks are useless to me without new events to race them in. Bring on a wheel pack and an event pack/expansion pack DLC.

The first DLC is still the best, if you don't already have it, go for that, I think DLC 3 is worth it if you like to..

-Go fast
-drag race
-test cars
-have more tracks

As for the cars, the V12 Vantage and Aventador justify the price easily and the others are just a bonus, even the Leaf.

I don't have the car pack, as I'm still not convinced...

The first time I drove down SSRX was in a stock McLaren F1, interior view. That single trip around was worth the 4 bucks itself. ;)

Yes, yes, and yes some more. Any true gear head needs to have 0-60 and 1/4 mile times :odd: and the Aventador is simply stunning...
