Is this all-in-one good?

i have no clue. I had the option of that and the Lexmark x5150 - I got the lexmark because overall, it offered better quality and the scanner bed was a bit larger.

just don't forget to factor in the cost of ink cartridge size and the price of them. My ink is about $50/tank - each of the black ones me lasts about 2 months of regular use for school. That's another reason I liked the lexmark - better ink storage.

It looks good to me. Make sure you buy a USB 2.0 cable and not install any of HP's ****ty software, just the drivers.

I've not had good experience with all-in-one units. They tend to be all-crappy-in-one. But that's just my experience.

Ew, MFC's...

I'd rather get a seperate scanner and printer as I don't use the fax.

it has fax software included

no all-in-one comes with fax anymore. They cheap out on that part by mooching off of the pc's modem.

Well, I'd just get a scanner with a copy function. Basically it just scans the document and then sends it off to your printer to print. My Canon CanoScan LiDE20 has that feature.

And my MFC has fax (Canon Multipass C100).

Well, my old printer was pretty slow. My new HP PSC 1210 prints 12 pages per minute in black. 👍 A big improvement over my old Canon BJC 4100 and BLJ - 4200.

yep i have one of them, great piece of kit i use it for just about everything. the one touch copier is really useful for me, especialy when the PC is off and i need some documents for work. the printer is also really good considering its an all in one, feed it full of photographic paper and its great for printing off digital camera pics.
good buy in my opinion 👍

I beg to differ, mine came with a fax machine on it. HP 2210 All-In-One.

Super-Supra, I'm glad to hear everything's going well for you.
