Issues with site

Is anyone else getting time outs when trying to connect?

I kept getting this in the ping test even after restarting my modem, clearing cache and rebooting my PC.

Sometimes but by the looks it's facebook time ... when GTP was getting time outs , fb was fine , now it's the opposite...

Servers are in New York City. With the power outages, the site goes in and out. We'll have to live with it for a while.

The server status Twitter was saying that the problems should be solved in a few hours.

The servers are running on back-up generators in New York City and they're having some fuel problems, so that's why the site keeps timing out.

Yeah, it was down for me about an hour ago. Chrome gave me the "Oops, something went wrong" page and said other users were having trouble as well so I presumed that the servers went a bit funny.

Municipal power has now been restored to the site's Manhattan datacenter, so hopefully this will be the end of the connectivity problems.

Hey Jordan, site has no background wallpaper images or anything and is very minimal.

Working now was like this for a full 5 minutes.

Happened to me too. Clearing my cache did nothing. EDIT: Went back to normal after I posted.

Just saying, for me all of the site now lacks any images and looks kinda "taken down" in general, in lack of a better term.

The same issue with graphics not appearing is happening with me, surprisingly difficult to navigate the site like this.

Got same problem, after a I cleared my cache.

This issue has also appeared for myself. I have a white page with blue/purple links and then text with spar odic pictures and oddly the message box is perfectly normal in unlike the rest of the page.

Although this issue isn't a consistent one, it happens every now and then but refreshing the page does not return it to normal.

Just to keep you informed. No longer getting connection issues. just display issues. Pages not loading fully, no graphics etc.

It's been doing it for me over the course of the past few hours. Site gradually loses graphics each time I refresh until it's a basic layout with white background, then it returns to normal shortly after.

This only seemed to occur when I used Firefox, but now it's started happening on Chrome.

I can confirm the content delivery network server's cached assets (images, style sheets, etc.) somehow became corrupt.

I have now flushed the cache, so please hit refresh or clear your browser's local cache if you're still seeing problems. Let me know if they remain unresolved for you.

In my case , it was happening but when I open a new tap and go to gtplanet it's fine ..
Atm it's still like the image I posted but then again , it only happends sometimes when I reload gtp ..

I will note that since flushing the cache, the issue still appears to be intermittent for me as well, so I'm sure you all are also still experiencing these problems.

It indicates a deeper problem with the content delivery servers, so I'll contact the service provider to confirm the problem with them.

It IS happening on the app, but only every now and again.

Where there is a usual advertisement at the bottom of the page, on some it's just a blue ?.

I had to clear my cache twice before it returned to normal. Everything seems fine now, but I'm not sure if it'll last.


EDIT: Not long it seems. I'm slowly losing graphics in the same manner as before.

Tried to clear the cache that has been accumulating since the beggining of the times, but it's still the same.

Style sheets will now be loaded from the site's primary web server, so pages will no longer completely lose formatting. However, graphics, smilies, etc. are still being loaded from the content delivery servers and will continue to have problems until the service provider can resolve the issue.

I just received an update from them confirming they are aware of the issue which is affecting all of their customers and their engineers are working to resolve it now. Thanks for your patience; there is no need to continue posting screenshots of what the site looks like for you.
