Because people are going to finally, finally stop buying BMW's en masse to instead buy Italian cars after 20 years of Fiat trying pretty much that to varying extents; and the Infinisler M300C Maserati Ghibli is why.

That gave me a chuckle.

There's obviously some sane features, but it doesn't mean anything...I highly doubt Maserati could create a prototype in three months based off the VGT design.

There's a key difference between the VGT and the Alfieri- the VGT looks terrible and the Alfieri doesn't.

It looks like a Maserati GranTurismo/Mercedes Benz VGT mash up, and I agree with @GTboyz the rear end of the car kinda looks like the FT-1's.
