It's a fact at all the Target stores in my area, I can't say that it is for all of the US. I know this because I have two friends that work at Target and have already verified this for me.

I think it has something to do with today being Presidents day. All the other games I have preorderd with gamestop I went and picked up late monday night. And I would always get the phone call sunday afternoon (usually while watching some golf or something on tv) I know the USPS doesnt run on holidays, and most of the games were shipped via ups, fedex, or dhs, but I still think it had something to do with me not getting it today, damnit!

If that is the case, I will not be too disappointed...because if you think about it the US is getting improvements and added things in the game...so I guess that kinda makes up for it.....although that would be cool to get the added booklet too....it would be a double bonus

Precisely. The Software Etc. that I pre-ordered mine from last told me it would be shipped to them via FedEx and that it should be in the store 12pm-3pm on Wednesday (until I called a few hours ago and they told me Thursday ).

So I'll stop by tomorrow and confirm -- again.

Yep, i'm not concerned how the game comes in the packaging honestly, we got the extra cars over the JDM version, 2P garage, etc. etc. that makes me feel much better about the purchase anyways.

kick ass I live in Tulsa too.
The Manager at GameStop in Woodland Hills Mall, Jason, said they are going to get their copies in at 7-9PM. He mentioned they might have to get them from the airport and they will also stay open an extra hour or until everyone who's there has received their copy.

I thought items like that arrived by freight (who work even on Holidays) then transferred onto big rig trucks who also work through holidays.. so President's day shouldn't have been effected.. besides, FedEx and UPS worked yesterday btw.. I got a package at my doorstep to prove that =)

True I think I'll go to bed now!
Then get up at 9-10 take shower, start computer, log-on then grab phone and start to make a few calls. Before I can get it I need to stop and get gas or I wont make it home with the game.

Meh... I could just ditch the Cutlass if this does happen and run for the nearest playstation. This winter storm we had yesterday cost me 10$ in gas to get home, by the time I got home I finally relised I was down to my last 8th of a tank!
