next time there is a game that I want... I'll pre-order everywhere, pick up the first copy, and get my money back from the rest. Shoulda done that this time. I have a feeling BB is gonna fail me and not get it tomorrow :(

I think your feeling is right, but ya never know, the 24th could be worst case scenario and thats what they printed in their national weekly advertisement. good luck man

Oh dont worry it'll be there tommorow(actually today..22nd), at least MY BBY is getting it, Im a sup in HT dept., and I saw shipment papers for tuesday:)

Edit.: We're getting 140 copies:)
 
Gotta say I have not been this excited about a release in a long time, I can't sleep lol. Think I'm just going to pull an all-nighter and around noon go to every store in the area untill I find a copy. There are lots of stores around here that sell games so I'm hoping at least one of them got their shipment in early...now what to do for the next 10hrs or so..lol
 
The most of you should be able to rely on Target.. they always have their game stuff on release dates.. ALWAYS in my case.. I got my Nintendo DS on release day, Halo2, etc. etc.

It's currently 12:12 AM as I start typing up this thread. 12:12 AM on Feb. 22nd. Do you think I'm hooked on GT4? Even with a test I'm supposed to have in Art History 1 and my results from my Math test, GT4 still dominates my mind right about now. So all the ones who continually bashed Sony and PD will finally have a chance to put away that bad talk against GT4 and play the game, or as we'd say, "let's do the damn thing!"

As one of the songs from GT3 is entitled, GT4 will most defintely "Kickstart my Heart." As being a big GT fan and GT veteran, I'll surely be looking forward to playing this game at long last. I haven't imported GT Concept, I haven't played ANY Prologue except for videos on DVDs, so obviously, I'm getting rusty with Gran Turismo. GT4 will get me back into the hunt. I want to try to get the game before my Spring Break (for me, March 14th - March 20th), and SURELY want to get it before school is done for me (May 15th). I'm sure all the criticism against this game will all be put to rest and buried 6 feet deep. God! Can't wait to pay somebody for that elusive copy of GT4! Wonder how long my GT community here in Houston waited for this glorious day. The weather will be cloudy and maybe wet, but for many of us GT fans here, it's beautiful sunshine.

I called Target not too long ago...and they open at 8 am in my area...so maybe it is the same in your area

Setting my alarm now... Night all... Prolly not gonna get on here tomorrow, lots of homework, and I have to fit my GT4 hunt into that.

So the best to luck of all of you, hope most of us, if not all, get their hands on a copy of GT4 :)

guys stores will not get the game in the morning, it'll be at the airport.....from there it will be shipped to stores.

Both Miejers I went to said they have not gotten any video games at all today. One Wal-Mart the night electronics guy was nice and looked around back for about 15 minutes, but they were unloading massive amounts of stock for the whole store,there was pallet after pallet coming out of the back. He said he thought it should be there but couldn't find it if it was, and said things might still arrive towards 7 A.M. or so, and to check back. The other Wal-Mart was dead as hell and the electronics girl said she hadn't seen it and to call in the morning when the dept. manager comes in. So no luck. I'm gonna try Target in the morning at 8, if no luck there then Best Buy/Circuit City/Toys R Us when they open. I 'pre-ordered' at EB last night right before they closed, and they are expecting it late afternoon, as a backup plan for me.
 
I just got the phone call from Gamestop saying it'll be in tomorrow 'evening'....I hope it's earlier in they day because if not, I'll have to have my G/F go pick it up for me since I work the grave-yard shift @ my job and am in bed usually by 3/4PM....GOD I can't wait! Sometimes I wish I didn't have to work! LOL!
 
I work the boneyard shift too (at work now).. i'm taking off an hour early to hit up Target before they open so I can see if I can snag a copy.

I hope you're right about Target. If not you will be banished to the nether-regions of the GT3 drift forum! :lol:

I work nights too, but I am off work until next Monday evening. I can get a whole $h!tload of GT4 played by then.:sly: I told my wife to leave me alone until at least Friday. I've got a bottle to urinate in and a box of crackers by the PS2 to get me through until Friday or so.:p

Lol, nice one. I won't be off from work until Thursday.. sigh.. but I work four 10 hour shifts so I get 3 days off every week, but I have so much to do it's not funny.. like fix my WRX.. having some serious ECU or o2/MAF sensor problems. Sigh. . more money down the drain to fix this darn thing.
