The E-Type sure is beautiful, the only thing that destroys it is the fact that it's a Standard :grumpy:

...though the suspension (when stock) is very bad :yuck:

Yes it should be a premium you know what else should be the XFR or how about the new F-type as a DLC when its released in the next couple of months, just throwing that out there.

I have 5 E types in various tunes in my garage and one completely stock with the exception of an engine rebuild and chassis maintinence. They are grear fun to drive in the game and in real life. Though I never had the opportunity to own I was a Jaguar dealership mechanic. I got to drive some early E-types as well as later ones including the V12 version. The physics in GT is not close to how they drive in real life and like someone mentioned in a previous post I never lost the rear end of the car even in the V12. The game cars can be tuned to closer mimick real life and I have even consistently won 500PP races with mine.

Aside from all that the E-Type is still one of the most beautiful automobile designs of all time. It is a shame that Jaguar didn't hold to it's true roots as one of the best sports car makers in the world.

That makes you guys, 2 between 7 billion people. LOL :dopey:

I love it... its a sexy machine. Got 8 or 9 of them. The engine sound is really good, both stock or tuned. :)

Hmm didn't realise GT5 hag sold that many copies. :)

For me the difference between standard and premium is so small that it makes no real difference. In my opinion nothing destroys the beautiful lines and sound of this car.

If it's true to spec then a 3.7 litre straight six....can't check mine as I'm not at home

I painted mine a nicer red, and gave it black wire-spoke wheels; and I was surprised by the amount of people who didn't have it, or didn't even know it was even in GT5. :p

Nah. Looks good, goes like rubbish.!

For me a car like that is about looks not performance, never actually driven one like most people but the thing is just so sexy, if I were an engine i'd mate with it put it that way. 👍

Could never stomach the look of the E-Type, with its wheels all tucked up underneath it. Whereas I would quite happily have an Eagle E-Type Speedster parked on my driveway...

Hate to zombie this post...but what engine does GT5's E-Type have in it?

The early series 1 E-Types (61-68) had the 3.8 ltr from the XK150, in Oct. 64 they were replaced with 4.2 ltr straight 6's.

It doesn't matter because everybody has their preferences(I for example like small cars and affordable ones lol):gtpflag:
