Race 1 results, great racing.
 
If someone can upload the Room A replay that would be great. Once I have it I can finish up the results.

Lexus horsepower is lowered to 404 and MR-S horsepower is raised to 364.

Cusco @ 388hp 1140kg (more of wardez specs), that thing is a sitting duck! lowest trap speed in the field!

Yeah when it started like that I was like WTF.
Thats why I slowed down expecting a re-start but clearly it didn't happen.
We should have the room leader or pole sitter control these matters next time.

Not working well with this setup argh. Can do better than P5.
 
In room B we wait 5min for disconnects before starting race... No idea how you guys did it.

Raise the horsepower to 394 then. 1150 kilos should be absolute minimum.
 
We were pacing, I DCd. Came back when they were 4 laps in and nobody stopped for me.

I have to figure out this 7-zip program to compress this file and get it ready for upload. Which program do you use to compress replay files?

Sorry Shoe for your race getting ruined we would of stopped but your connection kept dropping once you were re entering the room so that's the only reason why we pressed on. A note has been taking on that and will make sure it doesn't happen in the future.
 
I cant restrict it to 388. It goes from 384 to 394.

Also not going to give a 4WD car a further weight advantage over the 1180 kg cars. Sorry man lol
 
If 388 is the max bhp, limiting it to 394 wouldnt matter surely?

I said you could have my spot. You got pushy all race. Not just with me, but with Sakery also. I just turned to the right on the straight so I didn't hit the wall. I couldn't see you there. But that's nothing compared to slamming my rear in the braking zone for T1 and driving off. You have the fastest car in the field on the straights. Just sling past me.

yeah did that after you slammed me just the same on lap 5... countless laps actually i caught you up 6 times but was slown up by you. I'll take 7th.

And Sakery did the same to me several laps as well. So when it came down to the third pass I though I ought to treat him the same way...

Also, FTR... I admittedly had a poor T1 at some point by accident and i let you by before double apex 5 and 6.

Because you either brake too late or brake too early. All that speed in your car but you didn't judge the braking zone correctly obviously. It takes longer to brake at a higher speed, so in the draft brake early, but not so soon that someone gets caught off guard.

Exactly why i let you by when i misjudged. And caught you, again... again.... again... again... guy.

Like I said, I'll take 7th because at the end even though you didn't have to turn right because the race was over you did anyway.

Weight advantage will be nice.

I've got the race file uploading... It's shown up as several files... mac guys how do you play it?
 
I dunno whenever I have a clash I just record the replay with my phone and upload to youtube. :lol:
In fact me and Roadrunner had a disagreement recently and we PM'ed. He was cool about it.

When you're racing behind someone just take note of where the corner coming up is and when drafting realize your speed then plan your brake marker.
If the guy in front of me brakes earlier than I expect I just fire down the inside.
Dont have alot of experience, this is my 4th series since I started GT5 so Im still learning, but thats what I gather so far.

Why would you 'let me by'? Next time don't. Just be careful when you're following someone.
 
I do hope that Fuji is much cleaner being a wider track, more run off etc, room 1 wasn't the only room to have clashing issues, but PM's have been sent, also added that I successfully got my revenge, I had more fun down the back with alefin and that BMX dude

This is my fourth day, still learning as well.
 
My dorm's internet went offline sometime around 5PM est - so I couldn't make it or notify, Sorry guys. Seemed like a good race.
