Right, no car can go below the spec'ed weight, regardless of how poorly you do in a race.
 
Yeah, but since we had no success ballast to begin with it didn't really affect our weight lol
 
Sorry guys i got dced and couldn't get back in the room . Wouldba been nice to actually race i swear weekends see the most server problems lol

I will be changing to the ARTA for the next race. Too many issues with the IS350, plus too many people are using it
 
Yeah that's fine. I expect some people will switch.

Stewards, just remember when you report qualifying times to say what car the person used!
 
Good racing all.

Make them qualify with there ballast. It might give more people a chance to start up front. :)

Afelin just pm me about the suscess ballast for qualifying, which we definitly have to make people qualify with their weight our it defeats the purpose. That was a problem the gtrrl had that I don't want to carry over. Afelin was worried about extra work for us since hosting an event this big has keep us up late, but we will do what we have to do to have a very good quality series for you guys!

It looks like the last min car adjustments are already working and the field is starting to diversify itself. We will have a better balanced & mixed field race coming up this weekend!
 
Me either uga until I did our last gtrrl race there, and these cars are a fantastic battle with each other around here. Lots of room!
 
I did some lapping on Fuji GT (About 20 minutes). Still have a lot to learn about the track and I'm not fully comfortable with the braking point for the first corner yet. Got a benchmark time set, so if you're lapping, try and beat it. Still using RX-7 and of course I don't have any ballast.

Edit: Didn't notice RX-7 weight was lowered, Time above is with 1180KG.

I thought that might be the case Shoe, can you not reboot it? And are you wireless? you might be getting interference if so

I am wireless...and as I'm sure you know ive always been hindered by connection issues...no big deal...I will practice another day
 
You should try getting into your router/modem settings and change the channel of your wireless.

I always used to get booted out of rooms and other games until i did this. It might not work for you but should be worth a try.
 
Just did a 3 way race with 4 equal drivers. For 5 laps

The lead changed alot, with no car gaining an advantage.

There was 2 Lexus' 1 Garaiya and 1 RX7

Several times the cars were 3 wide going into corners.

The RX7 won, with a Lexus 0.059 behind. The Garaiya was 0.286 behind, and the other Lexus in last only 0.522 off the lead.

I'd say it's balanced now wouldn't you? :P
