Gave me a chuckle. Didn't give GT any credit.

Lordy...
2009-2011 is three. And that'll be 2010-2013 - Brawn won it in 2009.CNNBut Ferrari probably did not expect to elicit a response from racing and car design rivals Red Bull, winners of four straight team and driver titles between 2009 and 2011
2010.CNNRed Bull Motorsports posted its car concept, designed by Newey for a computer game in 2014
It's a bit of a pointless thread. No matter what GT is to anyone, it still is by definition a computer game.@jimipitbull.
Nah, just something I saw on my Flipboard feed and it made me chuckle so I thought I'd post it.
"A Computer Game", I think the GT series is much more than a computer game.
But it IS a computer game.
you can play it on a PC? I didn't know that.
Not sure why this is in the GT6 review forums, and it's already been posted and talked about HERE.
As great as the GTA program is, it has no bearing on what GT is or is not IMO.It is a "computer" game but it's a bit more than that. See if things like GT academy didn't exist then some of NISMO racing drivers wouldn't be a professional racer and instead they would be just a gamer.
Same link, completely different focus in this thread. Not sure why this is in the GT6 review forums, and it's already been posted and talked about HERE.
The first post further clarifies that:CNNRed Bull Motorsports posted its car concept, designed by Newey for a computer game in 2014
It's not that CNN referred to GT6 as "just a computer game" (they didn't) or that the concept that a console game isn't a computer game (hey, at least they didn't say "videogame", which I hate even more), but that they didn't refer to Gran Turismo at all.Didn't give GT any credit.
